About Urban Cooling:

At Urban Cooling, we have been installing all types of air conditioning solutions into residential, commercial, retail and leisure premises for over 20 years.

We specialise in providing air conditioning to buildings which otherwise cannot have it. With our solutions, buildings such as apartments and listed buildings can have the same standard of air conditioning as conventional systems provide, without the need for an external unit.

Operating within the M25, we undertake installations across all London postcodes.

“Great experience with Urban Cooling. I had two units installed, one in the living room and another one in the bedroom. The installation was done in one day and to a high standard. I work remotely from my flat, which gets very hot in the summer, making it difficult to concentrate on work or enjoy relaxation time during increasingly longer spans in the summer. This coming summer will be my third since the installation, and having air conditioning has radically improved my life for the better during the summertime. I can keep my flat as cool as I want and it is a joy to have. I fully recommend having it installed if your place gets uncomfortably hot in the summer, and Urban Cooling to do the job.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience with Urban Cooling from start to finish. We had three cooling units installed in our flat and I honestly couldn't be happier with the job. The installation was completed incredibly quickly and the standard of workmanship was excellent. Everything was neat and tidy, there was virtually no mess or disruption, and the finished installation looks great. A special mention to Mike, Bobby and Kian, who carried out the installation. All three were extremely professional, friendly and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They took great care while working in our home and left everything spotless when they finished. They thoroughly tested the complete system before leaving and all three units are working perfectly. After researching a number of companies before deciding who to use, I'm extremely glad I chose Urban Cooling. From the communication beforehand through to the installation itself, the whole experience has been first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering an internal air conditioning system. Thanks again to Mike, Bobby and Kian for an absolutely brilliant job!”

“I cannot express how professional, and efficient service that Urban cooling provides. It’s not cheap when you choose the water cooled product, but you really do get what you pay for. There is no other company I can recommend more. It’s worth every penny.”

“The administration and documentation was excellent. All you staff are curteous and helpful. I was impressed with the real concern shown by Calum and Tony over the problems of getting my equipment. The plumber (still awaiting his invoice), electrician and decorator all did a good jobn and were very professional. The payment method with a card was easy to do.”

“The urban cooling team was great from start to finish. The work was done professionally and I was kept in the loop the whole time what was to be expected. They're a well oiled machine, coordinating between plumbers, decorators, electricians and AC installers. All the work was done to a high standard.”

“Excellent service from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with Urban Cooling. Alisdair was clear, honest and knowledgeable from the outset, and really helped me choose the best option for my home rather than simply selling me a system. The installation team were fantastic. Really lovely people, extremely knowledgeable and professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home for the day. They were tidy, considerate and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The office team were also excellent. They were friendly and helpful, kept me informed throughout and made sure everything stayed on track. Communication was consistently good and the payment process was straightforward and easy. The system itself is excellent and, importantly, the outdoor unit is vwry quiet, which was something I was particularly concerned about. They aren't the cheapest option, but you're paying for an established, reliable company, top-of-the-range equipment and professionals you can trust. For me, that made the extra cost worthwhile. I'd definitely recommend Urban Cooling.”

“Amazing service from Urban Cooling! They originally installed our Toshiba air-con system two years ago, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. However, during recent work on our ventilation system, the PCB board in the external condenser unit was damaged. Urban Cooling dispatched an engineer at short notice despite the high demand during the summer heatwave. When the manufacturer couldn't provide a timeline for the warranty replacement, the UC team sourced the part themselves and restored full functionality within a few days. Outstanding competence and reliability—immensely valuable during the summer heat!”

“Thank you for your work! Appreciate the way you answered all my questions and concerns, and how you showed us to use and maintain the equipment. Appreciate also the discretion, punctuality and politeness. If I have to be critical to provide constructive feedback, I could suggest two things. First, perhaps some scratches/marks to the walls/doors could have a been avoided (granted, a decorator is coming regardless) with some additional care (not saying you were not careful!). Second, on some occasions you could be more proactive in the communication. For example, if you need to cut in an area where people have some clothes hanged nearby, don’t hesitate to let people know so they can move their stuff before dust is generated. Hope this can help, but regardless, we are grateful for your work. All the best”

“Urban Cooling – 5 Stars - It is a game changer! In the height of summer my apartment can routinely hit above 30++°C and above, and even at night it rarely drops below 28°C. For years I was told every reason why, living in a conservation area and several flights up, with only velux windows (and every type of blind) air conditioning simply wasn’t possible. I believed it until I found Urban Cooling. I approached them with extreme caution and did my homework, reading every review and scrutinising every stage of their process. They absolutely live up to the reputation. From the initial website query, through the online and onsite surveys, right through to installation, the service has been seamless, efficient and entirely pain‑free. Yes, there was a wait for fitting, but given the summer we’ve had, that is only to be expected. When the team arrived, they were polite, professional, courteous and impressively tidy. They met every timeline they set, and their support and billing functions were organised and responsive. Most importantly, it works. It is genuinely a game changer. After years of being told “no”, Urban Cooling delivered a solution that has transformed my home and quality of life. I couldn’t have asked for anything more - thank you!”

“Outstanding Service from Urban Cooling ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So glad I chose to use Urban Cooling to fit air conditioning at my home last year. They installed five Toshiba Haori air conditioning units inside all connecting back to one outdoor condenser, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team were professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and very tidy. They took great care with the installation, paid close attention to detail. The Toshiba Haori systems look great and are very efficient, providing economic heating over last winter and are a absolutely fantastic at keeping our home cool especially through these heatwaves we are having this year. Urban Cooling clearly take pride in their work, and the customer service was first-class. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend Urban Cooling to anyone seeking a professional, reliable air conditioning company. Five-star service throughout. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Absolutely delightedwith my new air conditioning, even though I've only had it installed for less than 24 hours, it's already a life changer....though I guess when you're in the middle of a heatwave that helps! Everyone I've dealt with at Urban Cooling has been super professional and the company have been great with their communication, keeping me updated every step of the way. The install at each stage was carried out efficiently and each contractor for the plumbing and electrics were top notch. Gary & Finn did a great job on the fitting and connecting of the units and made sure everything was working before they left.”

“I could not fault Urban cooling, from the two ladies I liased with in the office, Lisa and Rebecca to Jake who made a video call to me, to Kenny coming over to assess my flat to the guys who installed the units, the plumber and the electrician. Each and every one of them were always courteous, helpful and knowledgable. The air con is fantastic so extremely pleased all round Well done Urban cooling! I would most definitely recommend this company.”
