Very disappointed ☹️ Just a transfer on a slate, very expensive for something anyone can do. We thought the number would be engraved. It looks like it won’t be very weather resistant. My husband refuses to put it up and is buying another from elsewhere

From looking into your order, we can see you have ordered the Oaklands Natural Slate which has two options. The deep engrave style is an additional cost and UV print is free. On your order, UV print was chosen and sounds as if this is what has been received. Poor standard, when it arrived the holes were not in line and the screws were not the correct size for the holes. Phone up to complain and was asked to send some pictures to the customer care department which i did via email. It's been 4 days so far and I have had no response. Want to send the sign back as it clearly didn't meet the standard that I was expecting for the price I paid

Hi Christopher, We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product received and the customer service response provided. We pride ourselves on high-quality customer service and a prompt response rate. From the communications between yourself and our care team, I can see that you initiated an email on Thursday evening and a response was provided on Monday. Our opening times are Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00. I can see from the images provided that the screw holes were misaligned by 1mm which is within our tolerances as mentioned, it is a natural material and very coarse to cut. We advise of minor misalignment on our website. In regards to the screws, we supply a standard fixing kit for the sign purchased and have not had any issues regarding them not being the right size before, so we are sorry that you experienced this issue. Although the personalised product was not deemed faulty, our customer care team could see that you were not happy with the product, and a return was authorised as a gesture of goodwill. The delivery person was really poor! He stuck the sign in the letter box instead of ringing the door at passing it to us and now the product is scratched! Plus the packaging was really poor as well!

I am afraid I shall not be using your company again. I made a mistake in asking for centi instead of millimetres. Two minute acryllic bits arrived. I immediately contacted you admitting MY mistake and asked for a discount on my next order. You offered 15%. You then sent me another order form. On investigation, I find that 'Any Size' at what looked like £35.00 plus postage cost nearly £100.00 each. My garden is world famous. You would have had a good marketing display here.

Unfortunately the sign arrived chipped, late and the script is impact on the number side,then the rest is tiny,have been given refund on postage,lady dealing with my complaint was excellent at her job,shame she didn't make the sign,wouldn't use again or recommend, fortunately it's gone on an industrial building, but if it was for my home, it would be in the bin

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the signs received. When placing the order, we provide a live preview to show the sign layout, and how the sign will be printed/ engraved. Unfortunately as the artwork is showing to be correct from when you had placed the order, we are unable to fully refund this, or accept as a return due to the signs being personalised, which we state in our returns policy on the website. We also state we are unable to make changes or cancellations so please ensure your order is double checked and correct before payment. Sign arrived with a completely unreadable number 4 from any decent distance. Everybody that looks at the sign says that it is a 1 and not a 4. I contacted the company to resolve the issue. They refused to correct the problem. They only offered me a discount for a future order. I am not a sign maker but they told me it was not readable because of the font I had chosen. Perhaps a warning not to order that font would make sense?

From looking into your order, we can see the font selected seems to have caused this problem due to the finer lines showing less clearly than the rest. We provide a live preview before purchase to show how the font will appear on the sign, which was accepted when the purchase was processed. Of course, we completely understand your frustration with this, so have arranged a free replacement for you in a bolder font as requested and this will be with you shortly. Awful, complete waste of money. Didnt get what I expected from the image (raised printed glass on a separate backing panel). Thought that was the point of having the raised fixings, but no, I missed some upgrade option somewhere (yet more money) so I get a single panel which can be raised away from the wall. Pointless. Absolutely not what I wanted, I wanted what the image suggested I would get. Poor quality bit of printed plastic-like rubbish for near £30. Straight in the bin. Gone elsewhere after equally terrible customer service who were equally unhelpful as 'I got what I ordered'. Shocking

Hi Paul, I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the product received. Having looked into this, I can see that the sign received was as ordered and that when personalising the sign the upgrade for the additional panel which is detailed in the website example was not chosen. Due to this, the sign details were printed onto the one panel ordered. As a small family- run company we aren't able to arrange free replacements on orders that have been fulfilled correctly and as ordered, however, I can also see that several very fair resolutions were offered to you which were declined. We were very disappointed with the quality considering how expensive this product was. The slate was from Brazil rather than a local sourced material. The slate split when putting the sign in place even though we followed all their guidelines. I would avoid purchasing this slate house sign at all costs. We opted for what we thought would be a quality product by buying an expensive item, truly believing it would be a superior sign. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Very disappointed with my purchase. For the price I expected the letters/numbers would have been reverse printed on the acrylic sheet and then laminated so the front is smooth and can be wiped clean (as car number plates are) Instead the letters/numbers are simply printed on the front of the acrylic sheet and so are not protected from the weather. Also the advertising suggests there is a ten year guarantee but on enquiring about this I was told the sign is only covered by a one year guarantee. As stated very disappointed.

Hi David Thank you for your review. From looking into your order, we can see you have ordered a black acrylic panel with white text. We advertise our any size acrylic signs have the details digitally UV printed onto the front of the sign. The digital UV print we provide is weatherproof which means your sign details will not rub off, unless tampered with. In regards to the cover on the sign, our website states we offer a 1-year guarantee, and unfortunately, we have never offered a 10-year guarantee on our products, so are unaware of this.
