The quality was really poor and when I contacted them they didn’t bother to respond. Very poor service. Also the solar light doesn’t even charge properly and it light up really dimly

2.5 stars in reality. Sign received with a defect of isolated pyrite visible on the sign. These are gold/brown flecks showing above the writing. I contacted the service desk and was informed these defects are completely normal for the product and that it is a natural imperfection which they cannot control. I would argue a tighter quality controls and inspections could prevent this but apparently this is earned against somewhere on the website prior to purchasing. The fixings are rather poor quality and I opted to use better wall plugs and screws. The customer support at least gave a timely response and the sign is nice enough, shame about the defect.

Pretty poor quality. Scratches on back plate. Nowhere near as good as one it is replacing. Bought the last one from UK sign shop as well. Bought thr same dimensions and they have helpully changes the screw fixture points on the back.

Our sign arrived and the address was not exactly centered on the slate. On the left side there was a 6cm gap between the edge of the slate and the start of the address. On the right side the corresponding gap to the end of the address was 4cm. So a 2cm difference. Which was fairly obvious on our 50cm x 12cm sign. So if you place an order, please be aware that your address may not be exactly centered. The company say the finished sign exactly replicates the on-screen design, and therefore I have no grounds for a refund/replacement. I think this is a bit harsh as it is practically impossible to detect this centering discrepancy on a mobile device, where the virtual sign could be many many times smaller than the physical size. It is a beautiful sign though. The slate, the font we chose, and the engraving, are all lovely.

I purchased a Nora solar light to illuminate my house number at night. The house does not face South and without direct strong sunlight the unit does not work at all - not even a faltering glimmer so a complete waste of money. Service from UK Sign Shop was fine but the product was not.

As the light is charged using the daylight/sunlight, we would advise to ensure that it is in direct sunlight for 24 hours to provide it with the optimum initial charge needed. First sign arrived damaged. Probably due to the inadequate packaging and sending with Amazon so it just gets rammed through the letter box. Second sign was packaged the same but got through largely unscathed. The sign looks nice but not convinced it will be long lasting - time will tell. I was a bit disappointed that the aluminium is only a foil and it is applied to plastic. I was trying to avoid buying a plastic sign. This was not very clear in the description.

My sign arrived with 2 obvious marks in the middle. When I contacted customer service, I was told that the material can sometimes have flecks in and is a natural imperfection which they cannot control. I was offered a 10% refund. I have gone elsewhere to have another sign made.

We are sorry that marks were found on your sign and that you decided to use another service. We understand that when you contacted customer service, our customer service team advised that the gold marks present on the sign is pyrite which is a natural imperfection due to the material. As this impurity is completely natural, within our tolerance levels and is detailed on our website we were unable to offer a free replacement. After a misunderstanding with my order ( I was ordering the visual picture of perplex front and brushed steel at the back but misunderstood and put ‘no’ on the perplex question and only received the brushed steel part with the writing in that. Sadly, after corresponding with Nicola, she would not budge to provide me with what the picture showed on the order. It cost me £7.95 to have a clear perplex front with no writing on. Nice quality but doesn’t look right. All in all it’s cost me approximately £30 and I STILL haven’t got what a wanted ☹️

We advise on the sign page and when opting to add a clear front panel and again when selecting your fixing option of the requirements to obtain the image shown. We then send order confirmation stating the sign details and this states that no clear panel had been added to your order. We advise on the sign page of the sign variations and advise in the description under the image of the requirements to obtain the shown image. Not the best sign I have ever had! It’s basically a poorly cut piece of slate with spray painted stencil street name and number. You can see where the spray paint has come under the stencil

Sign produced on time. Evri delivery was very slow, nearly one week after availability from your workshop. Described as an aluminium sign turned out to be two thin sheets sandwiched on a type of hard foam ! So description did not match product.

From looking in to this further, I can see that your order was delivered within 5 working days which is standard delivery and as advertised on our website, so this was received within our stated timeframe :) In regards to the products received I can see that you purchased an acrylic Oaklands house sign and a spike sign. The spike sign is made from aluminum composite which is detailed on the product description and the Oaklands acrylic sign is also made from brushed aluminum composite which is also detailed on the product description. Product looks well made ,and delivered on time. Very dissapointed that both signs came with no fixing instructions. Went on there site and requested instructions No reply Contacted them again this time reply came with "Place the sign on a sheet of A4 paper and make holes where the fixings go No Mention of what size drill to use, How deep to drill, how much adheasive to use , and do i cover the whole sign or just the pins Still not mounted the signs , Working out all the details Regards Ronald F
