“Look lovely, good compressional. Reasonable price, but big let down when the one pair laddered as soon as I put them on.”

Dear Glen, Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that a pair laddered so quickly - this IS disappointing for a 30 denier tight. Obviously due care must still be taken when putting them on, but they ought to be more robust than a 10/15/20 denier. “Quality service however the product was the worse I have ever bought, the size on the packaging does not mat H the size on the product, and the item has been a total waste of money!.”

Hi I'm really sorry that you're not happy with your product. I've looked at your order and I'm not sure why this has happened as we've sold a lot of these and not had a problem with them. Could you email me directly with some measurements of this product and I'll contact the manufacturer about this? Perhaps they have been packaged wrongly. i also need to know your height and weight then we can see what's gone wrong.

“I am disappointed with the quality of my tights, the seams are thick and not very comfortable, usually pretty polly tights are of a really good quality, the service and delivery of the tights was excellent, just quality that I am disappointed with.”

“Not bought tights in ages but wanted some coloured tights, They arrived promptly and were well packaged. I have worn one pair once and I was surprised to find that a whole appeared in the body part of the tights, The tights hadn't been snagged so how the whole came about I have no idea. I have two other pairs and I am hoping that it is just a fluke that the first pair haven't worn well. I will add that the tights were the correct size so the tights weren't over-stretched.”

“I ordered a medium size. I am a size 12 and 5’. They were a lovely shade of black with reinforced toes. My disappointment is I don’t find them quite big enough in the tummy/bottom area and it was difficult to know what is the front and what is the back.”

“The tights are good quality and colour as stated. what is disappointing is the waiting period for the tights to arrive. When ordered they are always out of stock and the waiting time could be considerable.”

“I ordered four lots of knee highs for my Mum, who is in care, she cannot go out shopping, and normal knee high cut into her legs, have tried famous makes which are supposed to be comfy tops but they just fall down. Only one style look suitable, so unfortunately I have spent £20.00 for having only one pair which may fit the bill, but she needs to wear them for a few hours to try out, the other pairs will have to be thrown away, as they are non-refundable once opened.”

I fully understand your frustration with our returns policy, however, this is standard amongst hosiery retailers I'm afraid; and it set by the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2013, which prohibits retailers from accepting non-faulty returns which have been opened, tried on or unpacked. “I ordered two pairs of tights . One was the Fiore Raula 40 Gloss tights in black at £5.99 The picture shows them as very glossy which is what I wanted. The tights were not very good quality and did not look at all glossy like the picture on the website. Also the advertised sizing was extremely confusing. Shown as: 2- Small, & 3 - Med, but also showing contradictory sizing as : Size Height Weight lbs 1 S 4'9"-5'7" 145 - 165cm 100 - 132 2 M 4'9"-5'9" 145 - 170cm 105 - 155 3 L 5'1"-5'11" 150 - 175cm 111 - 165 4 XL 5'4"-6'1" 160 - 180cm 121 - 187 I rang before ordering to clarify the sizing but despite this the size I was advised to order were far too large. In view of this they were returned and a refund was agreed. Sorry but poor quality, definitely not worth £5.99 & confusing contradictory sizing.”

“Stock levels are quite hit-and-miss, especially when there is an offer or a sale on. I gave up ordering one of my favourite items on this site because they don't seem to have them anymore. The last time I ordered them I was waiting 4 months before I cancelled it. Another of my favourites is Gipsy 100d tights. This site shows 5 colours 2 of which are discontinued whereas Gipsy's site shows 17 colours in my size. On the plus side delivery is usually quite good and they do keep you informed when they can't get what they say they sell.”

Dear Customer Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it's much appreciated. I understand that it can be frustrating when we have a special offer or a sale on, and we've sold out of the items you require. We always make sure we have a high level of stock prior to a special offer, more often than not, we will order in items especially to accommodate the deal; but we don't know how popular an offer will be until we run it. It's also equally frustrating when we are waiting for replenishment deliveries to come from our overseas suppliers, which can take a little longer than domestic brands. With regard to the Gipsy 100 denier tights, we would love to stock the entire range of colours that they produce; however, with over 25,000 different SKUs in our warehouse, it simply isn't possible. Also, coloured items are very much a seasonal range, with all fashions, they can come and go quite quickly. Our buying team studies study the upcoming trends and fashion ranges, and will order in colours accordingly. Apparently Neon is going to be big this summer! “I dont know why you dont sell more of small size as I am only 5ft and small/medium are too long for my legs. How a medium is supposed to fit small I just dont know. It is the same with clothes too everything is catered for the larger woman and nobody caters for the petite.”

“I needed these as I had a major op and couldn’t wear tights. The feel was lovely, but they were far too short, they needed to be longer in length. But I couldn’t find the length anywhere, don’t know what long legged women do, I’m fairly standard. I felt undignified and sadly they will be remaining in my drawer, shame. I wanted to “feel” normal but they have had the opposite effect.”

“Tights are good quality but why do they make the tops the same size at the waist as smaller ones. Some of us older ladies don't have waists that's why we order XL but still can't find comfortable tights.”
