“So far I have only received 4 out of 6 pairs ordered and have not been given any indication of when the rest of my order will arrive.”

“After trying for ages to try and order online being thrown out at the end every time, Hannah was very helpful and a breath of fresh air after the frustrating IT situation. After Hannah retrieved my faith I tried again to order something different on a different day, this time at 7am to miss the overcrowded server. Same rubbish wouldn't work so gave up went somewhere else. Shame good products lovely people absolute rubbish online shopping. Sort it out IT.”

“It might just been a bad luck but my tights came unstitched the very first time I put them on to try. Unfortunately, they won't be of any use anymore.”

Hi Lorraine, I'm sorry if this wasn't clear but we did let you know that these items would be back-ordered, twice before payment and once afterwards. As you select the size and colour you want on the product page, if we do not have the total quantity in stock at that time it will say so in the box directly above the "Add to Basket" button, for e.g.: "We can send 2 now, then 2 in 10 - 20 days". It will also let you know this information in your Basket, highlighted in red to draw your attention to it, before you proceed to payment at Checkout (in case you'd rather not wait). “On this occasion poor. Had to phone up to find out that the tights were no longer available because the firm could not get the dye. Another colour was chosen and arrived next day, good service. Email was not clear why they were not in stock.”

“The 40 Denier Medium Support Flight Socks are too short, and the non restrictive comfort top is not! Since they are 'one size' and too short they cut at a wider part of my leg”

Dear Florence, I'm terribly sorry to hear that the Silky 20 Denier Flight Socks are both too short and that you've found the comfort top to be uncomfortable (though the latter could be due to them sitting at the wrong height on your leg because of being too short). “despite my parcel arriving very quickly I found the tights too small. I need xxl and ordered that size but neither pair fitted. I usually wear pretty polly but they seem to be out of stock at the moment?”

I'm really sorry to hear of the difference in sizing with these tights. Unfortunately, different brands, like shops, often have smaller or more generous sizing so it is important to check the individual size guides on each product page. Please would you be so kind as to email me your measurements (height, weight, and hip size) to 'customerservice@uktights.com' FAO Keri and I can compare all 3 size guides for you. “the tighs are the wrong size...im 5ft 7ins tall n long legs...ive got partys coming up n no fancy tights to wear....the 1st pair I ever bought was from river island comfa long right size these were wrong...and now another package came today...please help....my fone number 01383 410043.....therz an answering machine if im not there”

“I am sure the products are fine but I had difficulty with the payment page, after a few tries I was able to buy the tights then I went to the underwear site, selected some items, used the offer code but again had problems with the payment page, didn't accept my debit card or Paypal so I gave up. Later in the day I dicovered the bank stopped my card as the uk tights purchase triggered an alarm. Now this is probably not the error of uk tights but maybe payment page should be looked at?”

Dear William, I can see from your order that these 8 pairs were out of stock at the time of ordering. This was shown on the product page, in your basket, and in your order confirmation email before dispatch and they are usually available 10-20 days from the date that your order was placed. “The sizing guide was way out. Far too big, baggy, not as shown on line. It should have been as shown on line—a snug fit. AND the fact that you class these as "tights" and non returnable is rubbish. They are OUTERWEAR!”

I'm sorry to hear the leggings bought weren't a good fit. Please note: any footless tights we sell are classed as 'intimate apparel' as they cannot be worn without something over the top of them and can be worn without underwear. Leggings, however, are classed by UK Tights as 'outerwear' as you say, as they can be worn as a trouser and do not need a top/dress covering for modesty. Therefore, returns in this instance are not a hygiene issue and if the items are not suitable and they and the packaging are in good condition, we will be glad to accept them back. Please just fill out the returns form and use the freepost label. For high value returns we recommend adding tracking for security. Many thanks! Keri, Customer Service.

“Price and delivery was very good but I asked for 'black and yellow' striped tights. Although the package says 'yellow' they are definitely a lime green colour, so not really what I wanted.”

“NO guidance on sizing. I emailed to ask for some assistance re sizing but was told to check the item online. This offered no help for a 'one size' item. Items arrived very quickly but one pair very short (and I'm a short person!) and other, more expensive, pair when putting them on immediately managed to create a hole in the top!. Tights felt great but disappointed that they were ruined in first five minutes of wearing. Was taking care as more expensive than my usual brand and did not expect this. Postage however was superfast.”

Regrettably, one size items are a tricky beast! The size guides can tend to be a bit hit and miss there, so for the future, one size covers UK dress sizes 8-14. Please do return the Cecilia de Rafael Chacal 50 Denier Coloured Tights as they should not have developed a hole so quickly, especially at such a high denier.
