“Haven't used these fixings before. On a brick substrate the 5mm pilot was not successful but when I spoke to technical she was very helpful and sent me some 4.5mm sds bits which although wear and breakage was high. Did the jobs. Thanks.”

“I needed something to strengthen and stabilise two bay window pillars. I came across Twistfix. It had the video of how to workout what you need and how to fit the wall ties. There are cheaper alternatives, however if you buy cheap you buy twice. Our Victorian house is over 100years old so it deserves the best, and the Twistfix supplied wall ties were very easy to fit. Brilliant product highly recommended .”

“Very happy with the speed of service, I received the items within 2 days of ordering. The stainless steel flat roof insulation fixings worked exactly as I hoped, properly securing 120mm Celotex with a top layer of 18mm T&G OSB (for a GRP roof covering) into the roof joists. The thermalite block fixings are a revelation, they really do securely fix timber to thermalite blocks, unlike conventional plug and screws, and are quicker and easier to use as well.”

“Although we haven't used the product yet, we found the website easy to use with good information to help with selection of the right product. When I had to chase delivery customer services were very helpful. Our problem was with the courier, not Twist fix but is now resolved”

“still not received this product , not looking forward chasing the order up or trying to get my money back. What a load of bollocks unhappy customer stuart glenn UPDATE - I think I might have been too hasty in my feedback. I spoke to staff at twistfix who were really helpful on the phone. I received my order soon after my initial post. I am very happy with the product and the after service in terms of technical support. I would like to apologise for my hasty comments. Happy customer - Stuart Glenn.”

“Bit slow dispatching initially (ordered monday, early hours, dispatched Tuesday), quick delivery, on Wednesday. However, tool listed as accompanying was missing. Sent email-arrived early on Thursday. Good recovery from error.”

“Purchased s/s fixings to fix insulated boards to block walls; don't hold tight so if your boards aren't perfectly flat and wall likewise, stick with dabs. Also, would not hold in turbo blocks; had to use as masonry nails in joints! Wasted my money.”

“Excellent service from the technical helpline, delivery was promised by 10:00 Friday, parcel arrived 09:30, everything as ordered. Product, Helcal CD Ties are easy to install and the building inspector is delighted.”
