purchased 85mm Metal fixings for insulated plasterboard, when attempting to fix 30mm insulated plasterboard to thermalite block, fixings did not hold, became loose in block, very dissappointed in product.

Poorly engineered. This is a plastic anchor for insulation panels, external or internal. SPIT ISO or FISCHER DIPK are the same in principle. In practice, however, this is far worse. The anchor itself is okay, but the nail is a very loose fit, leading to inconsistent expansion of the anchor (see the gaps present in the photos). Also see in the photos the SPIT ISO anchor I ordinarily use- for comparison (orange nail). The SPIT nail is made from a more robust material (GRP) to withstand MORE hammering, it being a much tighter fit and therefore delivering more consistent expansion within the brick. The serrations on the nail also add to the pulling resistance. A much more reliable fixing. This twistfix nail looks like it's simply extruded plastic. The ejection points are so large they stand proud of the nail shank, so it's these that are expanding the anchor, not the nail, rendering the serrations on the nail pointless because they're not even making contact with the anchor! The last thing I want to be doing is doubting whether 50sqm of panels will be sufficiently restrained by this fixing. Made a mistake in thinking these would be an equal to the SPIT fixing because the cost pretty much the same. Delivery was relatively expensive for just 1, light, shoe box sized parcel (£8+) and it took a few working days to arrive. Website was good and email updates about the order were also timely and useful.

Brought 2 packs of the twist nails 75mm after finding them on the internet and having to fix 2”x1” batten to thermo lite blocks but total waste of money couldn’t even get 1 to fix. The nails didn’t fit properly into the free Chuck so kept spinning and wobbling therefore drilled a to bigger hole in thermo lite blocks. Total waste of money and time

Unfortunately the product did not work at all. Mixed as per instructions 1 part mortar to 2-4 parts water and even with the 2/4 ratio the syringe could not draw the product up. Tried inserting into top of syringe after failing to draw and again couldn't inject it.

Very disappointing that www.twistfix.ie cannot sell it products in Ireland because they cannot ship the product from UK due to Brexit. It is hard to understand that a company with .ie domain and phone number in Dublin cannot sell products in Ireland. I have come across many UK website that are too careless to get the statutory regulations implemented to ship products to ROI. But I am really surprised that a .ie website with number based in Dublin refuse to implement these regulations after 5 months from Brexit.

I had to call this company to discuss their products, and, make them aware of part delivery (their couriers mistake) and some issues with the products I bought. I now find those 5 phone calls have cost me £9.50 as their phone number (shown on their website) is a "premium call". I spent over £1100 with them.., this is a kick in the butt

Ordered product Monday, waited for 5 days, no product. Phoned up and was told it was sent to wrong depot in Belfast and it will be there Monday 16th Oct. I had to drive to Dublin to get product from another company as I had plasterers waiting. Phoned up on the Tuesday 17th and was told that product hadn't made it to Belfast yet. Very poor service.

The only reason I have given 1 star is for delivery, the product was a waste of £90. Expensive for what was in the box. could have purchased similar for much less. Way over over priced, that's my opinion.

You forgot to write my name on the parcel! The post office almost didn't give it to me but I described the item and they said they had it in back but warned next time they wouldn't give it to me. Also you got the order wrong - I ordered 90mm and instead received 70mm, which is completely useless for my application. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE
