“a lot heavier than id imagined, very sturdy piece of wood. easy enough to fit even for a novice like me but id suggest having a 2nd pair of hands to fit as its really too heavy for one. The colour, the notches all make it look really good, even the wife managed a rare smile so it must be good”

“My beam arrived perfectly packaged which ensured there was no damage. It was quick and simple to install with clear instructions. I am really pleased with the effect the beam has on my living room and has all my friends commenting how fabulous it looks!! I would definately recommend getting a beam from this company if you are tempted to install one in your home!! Fabulous!”

“Beam arrived with no bracket to fix. Contacted company who apologised and said they would send out in the post. A week later and still not here so have had to contact them for a second time. Beam itself if very nice but not much use on the floor.”

Firstly, thank-you for your feedback. I'm very sorry for this oversight on our part initially. We are very busy at this time of year and inevitably mistakes can happen from time to time. I have relayed the feedback to our packaging team. We dispatched the brackets with Royal Mail 1st class the very same day so it's very disappointing to hear that they didn't arrive. You're second pair is on it's way and should be with you in the next few days with my hermes. Many thanks, Freddie.

“I researched fireplace beams online before ordering and found most of the answers to my questions, however, before ordering, I had a few more. I phoned Traditional Beams who were helpful and confirmed to me that I should buy from them. Prices seemed to vary and they weren't the cheapest but we have been really happy with the service. Website was straightforward to order and the beam arrived very promptly and was exactly what we had expected and looks lovely since it has been installed, although until the build is complete, it is still covered in plastic. Overall, we were very happy and probably 4.5/5.”

“The beam we ordered is just what we wanted. The colour was perfect and we love the character that it gives to our room. Delivery was included in the price which was very reasonable as we had been looking for a while to find what we wanted. Would definitely recommend. Very pleased thank you.”
