“We ordered a 4ft oak shelf. The timber was good quality, no twists or shakes, almost knot free, accurately cut to size and waxed to the colour we wanted. The wall fixing method was somewhat unusual; 3 substantial stainless steel rods which had to be screwed into the wall and slid into pre-drilled holes in the timber to create a cantilevered floating shelf. All component parts were supplied. As long as you accurately drill the wall holes (working off marks on the timber) this creates a surprisingly sftong and firm fixing. No glue required. I had not expected fitting to be so simple. Very pleased, we will definitely use Trad Beams again.”

“This was a first time purchase from Traditional Beams and totally lived up to expectations. After searching the internet, we had a couple of choices but this company seemed the best option, as they have a good website and clear fitting, care and maintenance instructions. Everything worked well and the beam was delivered within their stated delivery period. All in all, we were delighted with the service and are delighted with the product.”

“At the point of ordering I wanted a bespoke size, the customer service was first class nothing was too much trouble. I was kept informed throughout the delivery process, when my beam arrived the quality was beyond my expectations. We immediately fitted the beam over the fireplace and it looks amazing, unlike other products this looks really natural. We will definitely be ordering again from Traditional Beams in the future.”

“We purchased one of the traditional beams for our holiday let. The fire place looked fine with just the opening, but felt it was unfinished. The web site was very user friendly, and made it easy to know what we thought would look right. The beam was well wrapped and delivered on time with email updates being given on the progress. As soon as I had unwrapped it, I was very excited to put it up using the very good fittings. I fully recommend the beam and Traditional beams. I wish I had another fire place.”
