“Having requested some samples which I received promptly. After having chosen the type and colour of the beam, I placed my order with a bit of apprehension because I am the type who would like to see the product live and feel it before committing to purchase it. I received my order in about 10 days after the order date, I was a bit hesitant to open the box. However having unpacked the items I was pleasantly surprised to see that my items were better than I expected. The colour, the quality and the fish was wonderful. I rang the company and thanked them for a brilliant service and wonderful product. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would not give a second thought going anywhere else for this kind of product. I would highly recommend this company without any hesitation. I know these are challenging times but, with your unique work, product and pleasant attitude I am sure will ride the waves. Kind regards Bruce”

“Absolutely beautiful beam, lovely colour and quality. Took a bit longer to arrive than we hoped but it was well worth the wait and when I enquired about the delay I got a prompt reply. I will definitely be ordering shelves in the near future to match my fireplace beam.”

“Highly recommend. I ordered the wrong size beam ( my fault) and Traditional Beam customer service sent me a correct size one very quickly and with minimum fuss. As soon as they received the wrong sized beam I sent back, my money was immediately refunded. My new beam now sits proudly above my fireplace and is often commented on by visitors .”

“Such a shame. The item looks to be a well crafted - but the waiting times (and the poor communication post-order) leave a lot to be desired. At time of order, the waiting time was listed as 5 -10 working days. However, when it hadn't arrived & we hadn't heard anything I called customer service - I was told it had now been extended to 15 days. Not helpful when we have taken time off work to fit the item and the customer have to chase.”

We’re pleased to know you’re happy with the craftsmanship, but we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to experience delays and to have to chase for updates. We try to give accurate lead times at the point of order, but sometimes production can take longer than anticipated, especially with handmade items. We did send ever customer an email updating our delivery times but it appears you did not receive this. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can improve both our communication and our order tracking. We never want our customers to feel left in the dark, and your feedback will help us do better. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience

“I recently purchased an oak beam to use as a mantel piece and couldn’t be happier. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish – friendly, efficient, and reliable. The beam itself is extremely well made, with a beautiful finish and solid craftsmanship. The quality is excellent and it looks stunning in place. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality oak beam and great service.”

“Absolutely love my floating shelves! Was a bit worried about their weight on the plasterboard, but the plasterboard fixings seem to be holding up totally fine. Only challenge was with the delivery company who were a bit of a nightmare but that's not on Traditional Beams”
