“I purchased a Lichfield Narrow Flip Top Oak Extending Table 140cm x 45cm which was delivered very professionally a few days later (The chap carried the pieces into the kitchen which was appreciated as it is very heavy!) It comes with the legs separate and these need to be fixed. It is a very easy task but it does need two people to flip it over from once they are attached. It is heavy and I think would be easy to damage it - or yourself - if you tried this alone. The table is a lovely colour and well finished. The mechanism is simple. It is ideal for me as I needed a table that extends by opening along the longer edge but always bear in mind this is a hefty piece of work and it needs pulling out from the wall. The legs attached quickly and firmly. If anything the attachment bolts and fixings are not as accurately made and placed as the wooden parts of the table - but they worked fine (they just look a bit ugly from underneath). The table is not solid oak but rather pieces of very thick oak bonded together but you would not notice this in normal use. It looks really nice and has a golden oak colour. I had looked around for a table of this size and type and thios was both exactly the right size for my kitchen but also one of the most reasonably priced. I would buy this again if I needed another and I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a solidly made, sturdy, beautifully finished and coloured table. It looks very expensive.”

“Very pleased with our chairs. The reason I have given a 4 star rating and not a 5 is because the seat pads are quite hard. Also the is a lot of plastic around the chairs. The delivery driver was excellent.”

“I had to return the first chest as the wrong colour was delivered. However the Customer Service was excellent and a replacement was received within a couple of days. The furniture is of excellent quality.”

“Very pleased with country oak 2.8m table. Delivered quickly with extra cost of £280 as based in Aberdeenshire. Unfortunately no contact by haulage firm to say which day they would arrive. My husband was at home and helped the one man driver lift the table off the vehicle.”

“Capacity seems a bit restricted.Delivery driver could not take card board box off Although we are both late 70's and wife just had a shoulder replacement.They were also ahead of schedule.. I had to struggle on my own to take box off and hert .y back.We wanted some small draws but in future will look Elsecar as not very caring.Perhaps one day they will get old and know what it is like.”

“We thought it is very solid and easy to follow directions, we really like it just avery little bit troublesome to line up a the back of the bed frame when you push the bottom bed in other than that very functional we love it”

“Nice unit, bought to match our other one that has only half glass. This one wasn't as good quality, cheaper wood, not solid oak and had been waxed with something very yellow and strong smelling. Does the job and looks nice despite this”
