“Poor service. We ordered a small hand tool (£80)without battery and charger near 2 weeks ago and it's not turned up so I search my email for the tracking number and find a 2 emails from them asking for almost £12 more postage but there website states free UK shipping on orders over £75. Very unreliable service and if you need tools quickly and live in Scotland I would look elsewhere.”

Hi We emailed you the morning after you had placed the order on our website to advise of the additional costs which it does state may occur on our website prior to you ordering. As unfortunately your HS postcode fell into this. We couldn`t ring you to advise you of this as you didn`t leave a contact number on your order. Was also explained in an email to you we don`t use royal mail for dearer items due to the poor after service when parcel getting lost or go missing. Regards Martin

“Great prices but stupid policy on only being able to send goods to the address the card you're paying with is registered to. We're repeat customers and paying with the same card, so surely they know it's not a fraudulent transaction. We're asking for the goods to be sent to our business address, the business being named after the card holder, so again surely this proves it's not a fraudulent transaction. Out of the 150-200 suppliers we deal with, no one else has a restrictive policy like this which seems completely counter productive to retaining business. Surely you can set up an additional security check with the bank, like having to enter a password, or code that's sent via text that all companies use nowadays. Infact this is now regulation from May this year to use these checks.”

Hi Unfortunately due to fraud being committed against us we had to change the way in which we accept online card payments. Our merchant bank doesn`t cover us if we send to a 3rd party delivery address so this is done at our own risk. To which we had to stop this due to a minority of people doing this to us being, we not only lost the money on chargebacks but also the product as this had already been shipped. And as a company if we continued to allow this to happen then we wouldn`t be here in the future to be honest. We do state prior to ordering all orders must be shipped to the billing address for the card. Regards Martin

“Although the order was charged to my credit card and money taken. They refused to process as my address didn't match. No just moved house. Treated like a scammer. Didnt take much to verify my credentials. Had to re-order from another supplier. But found the items cheaper from an alternative supplier. My advice would be use Screwfix. They do send the order to my address regardless which card I use.”

Hi Yes the order was placed on our website, but as our website states all card payments must be shipped to the registered billing address for the card. As the details you provided weren`t the correct details your order was refunded as we aren`t covered by our merchant bank. This was advised to you via email. We don`t treat anybody like a scammer we just have a company policy that we adhere too. Regards Martin
