Ordered a lawnmower - supposed to get next day delivery. Nothing happened. I Emailed - told they didnt have one in stock even though website said they did. Emailed again as communication was poor and told they didn’t know when they’d get one. Was given a refund but wouldn’t use again.

Hi We emailed you on the day of the order. Advising the issue with the stock level. To which you advised you were ok to wait for. We had them on order with Bosch however the have held the product currently from being delivered from there warehouse. Which unfortunately we can`t control that side of the the delivery.

No great, impression so far. Needed this circular saw for a particular day to use the next day. The delivery firm APC gave me a date and time, but I received a message that morning stating they had tried to deliver earlier but I wasn’t in. Myself and family were around, so no attempt had been made. After a great deal of effort I managed to get through to APC who explained that the saw was damaged and returned to the Alan Watkins. I guess it depends how quickly a new saw is resent on whether I amend my review.

HI Gary Can you advise your order number please?. As this is the first we have heard of an item being return from APC being damaged and we very rarely use them to be honest with you. Normally Dpd or Fedex? Regards Martin

Hi Alan I have checked you order and delivery. You placed the order on March 30th at 7.14pm so this left us the following day march 31st which is on time and was delivered by FedEx on April 1st at 11.56am. Not sure which part of this delivery is slow as it been delivered as stated. Regards Martin

Unfortunately I still dont have my item, the delivery is set up, so that you can only recieve the item if you are home, there is no way to re direct, or leave in a safe space. I called up to explain, they said they had altered the delivery, but still the same issue, I have to be home to recieve the item. I have emailed and will be asking for a refund. Rediculous, I have never had this issue with delivery.

Hi Stephanie This would be correct that the courier can`t leave it safe im afraid as this needs to be delivered via a pin code which is sent to you from the courier. We have had to put this in place due to the amount of parcels customers were claiming they hadn`t received or had been left safe but then gone missing. So using this system alleviates this issue.

DPD delivered a soaking wet box outer cardboard soaked inner packaging soaked. Email a heads up and said good job the goods was in an aluminium casing. Replying nothing can be done, didn't even get an apology which is business as usual. Even asked for pictures which I supplied. Good luck in this climate!

Not very happy about the item purchased. The box in which it arrived was apparently opened several time, very used, torn down. On the item itself there were visible scratches and marks of use. Instead of resonable explanation from the seller I received only answer that the stuff they sell is brand new. Honest explanation would be nicer...

Hi Jan You now only leave as negative review having purchased the item over 7 weeks ago. You also didn`t mention anything 3 weeks ago to us when you emailed asking for a copy invoice? All our items we sell are brand new products. We will tape use clear tape around the edge of boxes to ensure the parcel contains arrive still in the box provide. Regards Martin

Initial purchase and dispatch good. If you buy tools from here, make sure you are familiar with the returns policy. In respect of the Dremel I purchased, they simply handover any issues with the tool, to Bosch. This is where their accountability ends. The goods get collected by Fedex and returned to Bosch for inspection / replacement/repair. This is not a quick process. I basically bought a Dremel tool 2 weeks ago, paid in good faith; it failed 5 mins into using it for the first time and has still not been resolved. For that reason, Alan Wadkins gets a lesser review. Returns process poor

My item took nearly a week to arrive when they clearly state on their website that the item was on next day delivery. They then blame the delivery company..... And they're right. But if they know that it won't come next day don't offer it! Probably buy it from my local builders merchant next time. I'll pay more but at least I'll have it when I want.

Hi Paul Sorry to hear this was delayed in getting to you. But if a parcel gets delayed leaving us in the courier hub system I'm afraid this is out of our hands. The majority of the parcels we send out do get there as advised, but sometimes as we every courier service these incidents do occur do which we can only apologise for. Regards Martin

Ordered a makita router based on the picture they had on the web page showing a shorter more compact fence . When the machine arrived ( very promptly I might add ) it was not the fence as shown , So no good for me ! I now have to pay for postage return on a heavy item ! I shouldn’t have to pay anything as it’s not my mistake . ( Not impressed ) ! Be sure to check what you’re getting before you order . I’m giving the low mark only for this and I’m sure otherwise they’re a good company.

Should state when an urgently required item is not in stock. Time is wasted with refund and having to re-order from another supplier!

Hi The item was boxed in a cardboard box directly how the come from Milwaukee to us. Then placed inside another cardboard box for delivery. We don`t go inside the box from Milwaukee on this product. Regards Martin

Sent wrong level can’t understand how it’s not that hard called them and some guy answering was not really that helpful spoke with a unprofessional attitude and did try to make hard With a return of my money I won’t use these again cheap item get rubbish service

Hi Lee The reason the wrong level was wrong was they had been sent wrong from the supplier and booked in under this code. I was sat next to the gentleman in the office when you phoned up and he arranged the collection of the level from you and advised a refund would be issued upon it`s return to us. He wasn`t being difficult with regard to the error made by the company.

Was disappointed with the item I requested not delivered on time but was mucked around with the wrong date that I paid extra so it was delivered earlier. I'm also waiting now for the item that is now being sent to another address

Hi Dave Having looked into this. We can only apologise for this error. Looks like a Saturday delivery hadn`t been authorised on the label hence it went on a standard next day delivery. I can see the delivery charge was refunded and the item was sent to a different location for you to resolve the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience Martin

Very disappointing. Ordered on-line, got an email to say payment had not gone through. I phoned up the next morning, to try and make payment and was put on hold. I hung up after 10 min. I phoned back again, before lunch, left my name and number to be called back. That was the last I heard from this company. I re ordered from another supplier that night.

Hi Frank Your order was refunded as the details provided on the order were not the correct details for where the card used was registered too, and without the correct details we are covered by our merchant bank, We did call you back regarding this but you didn`t answer as it was myself that ring you later in the afternoon. Tool appears to be used! Purchased a Lamp (ledlensor) very quick delivery, easy purchase (hence 2 stars) but once opened charge cable did not have ledlensors cable tie and the torch was flat with no charge, All other lamps purchased direct from LedLensor where fully charged, instructions where crushed at bottom, and plastic bagholding the lamp showed signs of being crushed in a ball but was over the lamp? I was able to register for 7 year garantee, Looks as though they may of sent the display model or a return! Very disapointed as i have just returned to UK and need someone reliable to purchase tools from as going back to being an electrician.

The next day delivery charge of £15 i paid for was useless waste of money as it turned up a day late may as well just paid for standard delivery. Nearly £10 cheaper and would have arrived on the same day it did

Purchased a boesch AXT25TC mulcher. Doesn’t work well with damp or v leafy material and keeps jamming, which means constant clearing of turbine blades. Rather defeats the object

Hi Dave Yes the machine will jam up I'm afraid if you are feeding wet or damp material through it as this isn`t design for this. The materials need to be dry for the machine to perform at full capacity and prevent the machine from jamming Many thanks Martin

Prompt delivery but foot control was unable to be used because wrong plug fitted. When I contacted you with problem there was no offer of assistance just referred to Bosch. No apology which I thought was poor

Price wise ok , but there Website says items in stock , I ordered , 2nd day when I call & ask for delivery they said ohh these items are not in stock . As I need that items asap to star my job because of all that I lost my 3 days . Disappointed 😔

Hi Think this review is a bit of a lie to be honest with you. Both items were and are still are in stock with us. The reason your order got cancelled is you couldn`t but the correct details for where your card used was registered too hence we had to refund the order as we aren`t covered by our merchant bank if the incorrect details are supplied. And you never called us chasing the delivery as we emailed you to say this has been refund and why and you emailed back stating this was ok. Many thanks Martin
