It arrived when it said it would. I've been asked way too early for a review - there's no surprise ordering at this time of year the item is a Christmas present, so it's still in the box and has not been tried yet to see if Alan Wadkins Tool Store have done a good job.

I ordered a festool unit for a domino. The price was good and came in good time. I had no email or communication to say the order was accepted or delivery information. I had to call the company to confirm the order was live etc. They were helpfull when I called but was a pain to have to do and time consuming. Get your communication right guys.

Hi The order confirmation was delivered for the order to the email address you provided and delivered to you at 9.07pm on the 1st Decemeber. Have you looked in your junk box maybe as your system may have blocked the email from coming through?

Said on front page free delivery orders over £75 to uk no where it should’ve said uk mainland only

The only down side was that the two parts of the tool arrived on different days. I had requested next day delivery. But the tool arrived in good condition.

I haven’t had my parcel yet so difficult to review. But I’ve had no information about delivery, just a card through on a random day, and FedEx are massively inflexible with redelivery. Dunno what else to say!

Hi Joseph I have looked into this for you and can see the item was delivered this morning via Fedex. The courier won`t have been able to contact you as you didn`t provide a landline or mobile number on your order for us to add for them. So it would only be a case of you having to rearrange the delivery. once you weren`t in on that day the first attempted. Regards Martin

the website was efficient and user friendly however as the request to write a review was received before the goods have arrived I cannot comment further. All the other questions on the review request are superflous as the purchase was made via the internet and involved no interaction with the company.

Great prices but stupid policy on only being able to send goods to the address the card you're paying with is registered to. We're repeat customers and paying with the same card, so surely they know it's not a fraudulent transaction. We're asking for the goods to be sent to our business address, the business being named after the card holder, so again surely this proves it's not a fraudulent transaction. Out of the 150-200 suppliers we deal with, no one else has a restrictive policy like this which seems completely counter productive to retaining business. Surely you can set up an additional security check with the bank, like having to enter a password, or code that's sent via text that all companies use nowadays. Infact this is now regulation from May this year to use these checks.

Hi Unfortunately due to fraud being committed against us we had to change the way in which we accept online card payments. Our merchant bank doesn`t cover us if we send to a 3rd party delivery address so this is done at our own risk. To which we had to stop this due to a minority of people doing this to us being, we not only lost the money on chargebacks but also the product as this had already been shipped. And as a company if we continued to allow this to happen then we wouldn`t be here in the future to be honest. We do state prior to ordering all orders must be shipped to the billing address for the card. Regards Martin

Prices seem to be very good.... But... Wanted to charge £9 + for small parcel delivery to NI Royal mail charge approx £3.20, eBay paclink is £4.95 So order cancelled

Hi This was correct to what was quoted for I'm afraid. This is due to the size of the parcel being shipped to you. We do state on the website prior too delivery that there will be additional postage costs to certain postcodes. Regards Martin

Trying to buy tools from here for me was awful. I simply wanted to have them delivered to my place of work. However my card was registered to my home address. It's to avoid fraud. But they had my full details to check, instead they just cancel the order. Caused me problems. I don't use PayPal which was their go to comment. Then they won't take payment over the phone ..... it's 2022 !!

Website doesn't work properly, it tries to send the product to the wrong address and l can't alter it. Hence l've pulled out. Shame l can't do business...

Hi Richard We only allow card payments to be sent to the billing address of the card as stated on our website. This is to stop the small number of people that have tried to commit fraud against our company. You can send it to another address if you paid via PayPal and have this as your confirmed PayPal address within that account. Regards Martin

Hi Keith Many thanks for the review. I'm afraid the courier used for the delivery of your parcel don`t offer this service , they only state delivery will be between 8-6pm. We do use other couriers which offer this service for future reference but only for smaller items unlike the item purchased. Many thanks Martin

I decided to opt for the Makita after reading the good reviews, would have liked the 230 volt but as not available went for the 110v.As i needed it quickly, paid the extra to get before noon delivery next day, apparently there was an error in the admin. side and it arrived normal del.On unpacking every thing was fine until fitting the slide bar when i realised that it had been used before me scuff marks etc.but as i mentioned i needed it so accepted as is. This i feel is a shame on what should have been pleasant purchase. J F Creed
