“Iain Rose came to my house to do a survey and I showed him what I thought was woodworm. He was very honest about his assessment and have advised me that it was an old woodworm problem and that I dont have to worry about it. What a breath of fresh air to have a surveyor as honest as him! Thanks Iain for your advise and honesty, it has given me a peace of mind. I would highly recommend Timberwise to anyone who wants an honest assessment for anything wood issue.”

“I met Iain at Timberwise, who came to look at possible moisture issues following a surface roof repair on our Edwardian conversion flat. Iain highlighted areas of concern and gave advice regarding a host of secondary issues to look out for and an overview of how Timberland could help. Iain is fantastic. He was clear and to the point regarding the attributes and condition of the beams, and was generous with his own experience regarding related maintenance issues to think about. Proper nice guy to boot.”

“Well what can I say other than don’t doubt this company. Keith the managing surveyor from Timberwise Yeovil branch came to see me with a view to installing the osmosis system (or anything he suggested would be a solution.) Fair to mention at this point I’d done several works that in my view had not worked. Spent a fortune on these so-called solutions from other trades people none solving the issue. All had no post work support. Convinced my self I was sat on a river with no solution. I heard about the osmosis system so found Timberwise. He arrived on time and was a really nice person to boot. He listened carefully, not like something other trades had done, then asked if he could take readings of the walls. He took damp readings in a number of places. Imagine my shock when time after time the readings said no damp at all. I’d shown him the worst too. Bless him he took time to explain my issue was salt and as my old walls were quite thick they needed time to stabilise. All I needed was patience. He could have just sold me the system but he did not. He put me first. He also suggested a remedy for a small wall that I had not done anything with in the short time I have been here. Again I just need time before that’s done. So my experience of Kieth from Yeovil Timberwise is he is amazing. Timberwise are lucky to have him and def don’t pay him enough. I can’t speak for other employees but Kieth should do the training if they are not following his lead. Yes the company did not make a sale on this occasion, but I will use them for that wall and any future work. Also My neighbour asked how the appointment had gone as she has a really bad damp issue so I gave her his details and she’s going to get in touch, it’s a lot bigger job hers. Rather proves the point that goodwill generates business, I def won’t recommend the previous builders who I actually paid. However Kieth I would not hesitate to and who did not charge me a penny. His knowledge is truly amazing, and nice to boot. Thank you so very much to him, finally a company that values your business and is honest There are some around taken me 4years but bingo.”

“We used Timberwise North West for a dry rot issue. They were brilliant from start to finish. Came to the property promptly to investigate then booked us in quickly afterwards. Stu Fairbairn and Colin Hesketh were thorough, very clean and extremely polite and considerate. Carla was also brilliant and put our minds at ease. I would definitely recommend Timberwise for issues with dry rot.”

“On 18th February 2025 your surveyor Keith Wilcox visited us in Lyme Regis. Keith was on time, polite and highly professional. Within just a few minutes he had tested all our ‘damp’ walls and assessed the problem as condensation and not rising damp, which needed no remedial action by Timberwise. Keith advised how we can rectify the condensation ourselves without any further assistance. Many thanks to Keith and Timberwise. Highly recommended.”

“having contacted Timberwise via the internet I subsequently spoke to a polite, efficient and professional young lady who after listening to my concerns and taking my details arranged and confirmed by email an appointment for a surveyor to attend my property to access any infestation. The surveyor confirmed the time of his attendance twice by text, he arrived on time was pleasent professional and undertook a thorough survey of the areas of concern. I can only commend Timberwise and the people I dealt with for their polite, professional approach and their integrity. I would willing recommend Timberwise to my friends and family”

“We contacted Timberwise because we were not 100% sure that the people we bought our house from had previously treated a beetle bore infestation in our loft. Dean Foster came out to see us, was a really nice polite chap and took a look and confirmed that we had no issues and no work was required. “Adam and Lewis were round yesterday removing the plaster and doing the dam coursing. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves brilliantly. Today Paul and his team are here for the first day of re plastering. The guys have been great, totally self efficient and cracking on. I’ve had 5 walls treated all for a very reasonable price and in a speedy manner. Highly recommend this company.”
