“This is my fifth pair of TB’s and just like the four customer service/shipping experiences prior I have been very impressed. Fortunately, I chose the right size this time so there was no need to go through the exchange process (which TB was very accommodating and quick when I did have to exchange a prior pair), so I received my order in just four days, England to Las Vegas which is better than most domestic experiences I have had. Looking forward to my next order.”

“I'm so pleased I found Thomas Bird. The quality of the shoes I purchased is outstanding! I received my order from the UK to the Washington, D.C. area in an impressive 4 days! I'm thrilled with my purchase, and my next shoe purchase will definitely be from Thomas Bird! However, this purchasing experience almost ended very differently. Thomas Bird does not offer half-sizes in shoes, and their sizing FAQ recommends rounding down to the next size. If I had done that, I would have unfortunately had to return the shoes as too small in a US 11, as I consistently wear a US 11.5. Knowing that a US 12 would be too big, I would have sought a refund rather than an exchange and been forced to look elsewhere. Thankfully, before finalizing the purchase, I stumbled into the accessories category, further stumbled into the "Shoe Care" category, and then clicked on the leather insoles, where I learned they reduce the effective size by a half size. I added those to the cart, and they made all the difference! Not only did the US size 12 fit perfectly with the insoles (too loose without), the shoes instantly became even more comfortable. But for me accidentally discovering their alternate solution for the no-half-sizes issue, Thomas Bird would have lost me as a customer. I strongly recommend they amend their sizing FAQ to point to their leather insoles. This will increase sales and win more customers. As is, Thomas Bird now has a thrilled and loyal customer in me, and I plan to buy several items from them very shortly.”
