“I was very disappointed with the chunky wool I bought ,I had 5 balls of each ,lilac,red and cream the only one that was chunky thickness was the cream the red and lilac were more like double knitting. I definitely will not be buying this wool again as it is useless for the purpose that I bought it for.”

Hi Elaine, thank you for your review. We are sorry to find that you thought your order deserved a 1star rating. The majestic Yarns that you purchased state in the product description that the yarns vary in thickness from shade to shade. This is one reason they are priced at £1 per ball to clear. We work extremely hard to provide great service and prices and in this instance we do state in the descriptions that thicknesses of the shades vary. We would very much appreciate it if you could revise your review. Thank you

“I’ve been knitting a lot during Lockdown, and have used the wool factory for my yarn. I love the great variety of colours , I’ve used Woolcraft 25% wool and I’m very pleased with the quality, I’ve had 12 deliveries since June and very impressed with service . I’ve just completed my 12th Aran sweater/cardigan for family and friends.”

“I haven’t knitted for a number of years and couldn’t believe hoe difficult it was (maybe Covid related?) to get pure wool. Thankfully, the Wool Factory came to my rescue. Delighted with the quality of the wool purchased and the speedy delivery.m”

“More than happy with the service and I really loved the buttons., but I wouldn't buy this wool again as I find it keeps splitting and if I am not careful I keep ending up with extra stitches. I don't think that they would have been worth paying the original amount. Luckily I am only knitting squares but I would not want to try and knit a garment with it. I also have to admit the colours are beautiful and hard to decide which colour to buy which is why I bought one of most of them.”
