“I originally saw the lovely cast iron bedstead in a shop, and decided to order it directly with the company. The ordering process was clear and easy and we were able to get the exact size we wanted. The bed arrived within the expected 5 weeks (non-standard size and delivered to Dublin). It took 2 people about 3 hours to put together but it was worth it! It looks great and is solid and great quality. Definitely worth the wait and it has had many compliments from everyone who has seen it so far! I would definitely recommend this company and the lovely cast iron beds.”

“The bed was delivered within the stated delivery date and was very well wrapped. Requires two people to assemble. Assembly was straight forward following the instructions provided. This is the third bed frame I have purchased from the Original Bed Company one 3 years ago and the other over 5 years ago. I am very pleased with the look and quality of all 3 beds,”

“Absolutely delighted - looks fabulous - easy to put together and I actually managed to do this by myself! My child adores his beautiful bed and it looks so good I have sent pictures to friends and family! Excellent service with very efficient, reliable delivery.”

“The quality of the bed is of a high standard and the bed is well made. this was also very easy to assemble. the bed was delivered in line with the timeframes given at the time of ordering and was carried upstairs to the bedroom by the couriers.”

“Thrilled with the new bed and mattress. Good communication from the company and able to alter the brass fittings for chrome when asked. Ordered the cashmere mattress but was concerned the medium wouldn’t be soft enough, it’s good so no worries.”

“The beds are beautiful, sturdy and easy to build. The packaging however, I feel needs to be looked at. I ordered two beds. The packaging, some of which could be recycled, without exaggeration, filled my car.”

“Have been impressed by the quality of the bed I put together yesturday for my daughter. I did it myself on and off throughout the day relatively easily. If I would change anything it would be to make the pictures on the instructions bigger as i put the one thin central support tube piece on the top of the bed instead of underneath and couldn't fit the slats in until I realised it didn't make sense to have it where I had initially misunderstood it was supposed to go. Oh and those screws hang down a little too much I think personally, and may cause a scrape of an unwary hand when reaching under the bed for stored items... could do with being a little shorter or some kind of protective cap to be screwed on top. Just a thought. Overall the the bed is impressively good quality for its very reasonable price bracket and looks beautiful in my daughter's room. The delivery arrangements were the best I have encountered on any order I have come across so far for large items, especially as they let you know the day before the two or three hour slot they expect to be arriving within. I also spoke to a lovely man at the company before ordering as I was slightly perplexed by their exceedingly comprehensive terms and conditions. He was brilliant and reassured me they of course follow the normal returns policies. I don't however see myself needing to return anything and would definately purchase more beds, if and when I should ever need to, from this fabulous company.”
