“Lovely bed! I put it together myself in about 1.5 hours, instructions were clear and the end result feels very sturdy. Gorgeous design and reasonable value for money. Thanks OBC!”

“Came across this company purely by accident, while searching for a bed. And so glad I did. They kept me informed of when my bed would be delivered and even held onto the bed while we moved and delivered to our new address at no extra cost. Would recommend this company and have done so to friends and family. A fantastic job... well done!”

“We ordered a kingsized bedstead and mattress on line from the OBC, unfortunately there was a glitch with the ordering system and I although I paid for both items, only the mattress order went through. Note to self: Check the order confirmation. I contacted the Kings Road store and was put on to Malcom in the warehouse who couldn't have been more helpful. I had my bed within a couple of days and a refund for the difference in cost between the original price and the price on the day. The bed itself was extremely well packaged, the instructions were clear and it feels solid and well made. The main thing is, it is extremely comfortable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and would certainly buy again if the need arose.”

“The bed was ordered on 27th October and finally arrived last week, 13 weeks from order! The email I received had said the bed was out of stock and it would take 10 to 12 weeks. As the bed was out of stock when I ordered it we decided to have one of your courtesy beds which we are now left with, basically just a metal base and legs - we think this is a complete waste of resources. In addition the new bed arrived with no assembly instructions and we also discovered that several of the bolts attaching the side bars were also missing. Just a poor experience overall.”

Hi Georgina, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with the bed arriving a week later than anticipated, and subsequently putting the bed together. We had sent a delivery team to assemble the bed for you, but on arrival they were asked to put the bedstead in the garage. Unfortunately, because they had planned to assemble the bedstead, self assembly instructions were not included. On being asked not to assemble the bed, they should have 'twigged' that instructions would now be required; sorry for this oversight. We do keep plenty of spares here, so please get in touch with an exact description of the screws required and we'll send them out via first class post. Best wishes, OBC

“Overall, it was good old fashioned service. Your team is a pleasure to do business with. Firstly, when I went into the shop in Amersham. Nothing was too much trouble and I went back a couple of times before deciding. The delivery process was clear, understandable and well handled, including a phone call from me. Finally, the team who delivered were equally as quick, efficient and very tidy. I will certainly pass the good word on to friends and colleagues. Well done and many thanks.”

“Help! Bed got delivered to wrong address where a workman accepted bed Anyway after having day off work, it's now 10pm, I have no bed to sleep on and I cannot work out how to put the metal curved bar onto the black headboard..... seriously frustrating. I'm tired.... can anyone give me a solution please??”

“The design and the beauty of my Iron double bed - Athena - is a delight. This is the first time I have ever used a slatted spring bed. I am in India. Here we are used to having wooden plank bases, which are firm. This was first time that I had assembled a bed by myself. I did it with the help of my husband. We struggled a little in the beginning, but made a good job of it in the end. I wish the company had done the assembly, it would have been quicker and painless. However, assembling the bed by ourselves was quite rewarding at the end. It has a five-year manufacturing warranty, which is quite an assurance. Indian mattresses, which are cotton ones, do not work very well with this bed. It needs a spring / foam / coir mattress, which provides firmness when laid out on the slats. I really like my bed.”

“I bought a nickel coated bedstead from this company some years back as I was after a quality bedstead but the finish has deteriorated that the coating has not lasted in places. Though it is sturdy I am rather disappointed in this purchase.”
