“I bought a nickel coated bedstead from this company some years back as I was after a quality bedstead but the finish has deteriorated that the coating has not lasted in places. Though it is sturdy I am rather disappointed in this purchase.”

“I bought 2 of these beds a King size and Double. I had a slight problem with one of the beds but on contacting the company I got and immediate response and they resolved the problem for me a sent me a replacement part immediately. Their customer service is excellent and they were a pleasure to deal with and I can honestly say that I have never encountered such good service before. These beds are beautiful and I definitely recommend this company both for the quality of their beds and the quality of their service.”

“Bought solomon bed with underved drawers. Very good communicatuon at first via email. Once delivered bed is fantastic...but the underbed drawers are fabric...no mention of this in bed description, plus linen coloured yet the picture they are white. This wouldnt be too bad, but they came ripped, scuffed and broken. Now the person i emailed does not reply, i emailed customer services who got one of the owners of a shop in Chelsea to phone. He had no idea of why je was phoning, said he was just told to, once he knew i was wanting refind je said someone would email me to arrange this. I am yet to here anything back.”

Hi Jonothan, I'm really sorry that the underbed drawers were defective. We will of course do a return which has been scheduled but the warehouse hasn't been able to get in touch with you. I do apologise for this. Please do call us at 01536401272 on Monday and we shall arrange pickup as soon as possible. I have authorised a refund for the drawers and it shall be with you in 3-5 days. “Found this company on the web and very pleased that I did. Ordered The Edwardian in cream and a specialist Euro King size. Knew this size would take 8 weeks and exactly on time it arrived with a lovely chap who delivered and assembled it quickly and well. The bed looks fabulous and I can't wait to dress it tomorrow when my new mattress arrives. Tip top service from Tony in Chelsea who couldn't have been more helpful. Great looking bed at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to sleeping in it. Would highly recommend both the Edwardian design and the OBC.”

“I was delighted when I found the Olympia bedstead as I had been looking for a sturdy, not too fancy, painted wooden bedstead at a reasonable price. I knew the bed would take some weeks to be delivered as it was to be painted a custom colour for me. It did take a few weeks longer than anticipated for delivery but I was kept updated throughout and a delivery date was arranged. I was impressed at how helpful and professional to the two delivery men were when they arrived on the arranged day to construct the bed. I am extremely impressed with the whole build of the bed – in fact I can honestly say it was far superior to what I thought it would be. The inside support frame is metal, which ensures strength and stability and the painted finish is absolutely superb. I am thrilled with my new bed and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from the company again. A lovely, well built bed for an extremely reasonable price.”

“This is the first time I have dealt with this company, I was nervous about spending nearly £300 with somebody I'd never heard of, but I bought Athena, double bed size, and I'm delighted. Just one thing I'd like to mention before giving more detail. The site says free returns. No further detail is in the terms and conditions. But in a phone call from Tony in Chelsea, he said return carriage has to be paid and the bed packed in the original packing. These are reasonable terms, John Lewis has the same for the mattess I bought from them. I have no problem with these terms. Just better to say so. After that phone call I felt it would be OK, the company would sort out any problems.. The bed is a beautifully designed frame, sturdy and strong., Took my son about an hour to assemble. He said some of the screw holes were in awkward places, Tools and instructions come with it, nothing was missing. There are two spare slats. You can have 2 heights, I have the highest and, with the mattress which is 20cm wide, I am 65 cm from the floor. This is higher than my previous bed so I have to reach down to the bedside table, but I like the height. The low foot-end keeps bedclothes tucked in better than my old bed and is good because there is not much space between the bed-end and the wall. Best of all, on-screen, the Athena bed looks like it has blobs in the headboard design, but the blobs are cast iron flowers! I love the thing. I would buy again from this company.”

“We ordered the kingsize Claudia bed in ivory. Had never heard of the company so thought we'd risk it, and SO glad we did. The original day for delivery was not convenient so emailed and got my requested day confirmed incredibly quickly. It was packaged amazingly well and was easy to put together. It looks wonderful and the quality is second to none - so sturdy and not a scratch on it. Very very pleased and would definitely recommend and use again if needed.”

“I chose the Claudia bed in ivory and it is absolutely perfect. I wanted something that wasn't too ornate and had a low end. My last slatted bed which I had had for many years and was still as new had a higher end frame. I realised that this design with the low end is so much easier to actually make the bed. The ordering process was very simple and the bed was delivered on the exact day that I wanted it. It was also very easy to assemble. My husband did it on his own. Excellent value for money too.”

“My experience with this company was a nightmare! Paid in advance customs duties and the company was correct refoundind me immediatly Paid a second time other customs duties for replacement of a damaged part of the bed.Company was fast in replacing the part but did not refound any duties.Dear Obc beds you lose more than 8 costumers here in Italy.”

Mr Hanna, We are sorry that you had a bad experience with us. Unfortunately, there was some damage during transit and we have of course taken liability for the damage and replaced the necessary parts. Our courier did not have the facility for us to pay the import duty but as you have mentioned we have reimbursed the amount that you paid. I have spoken to my colleagues and they are in the process of reimbursing the import duty you had to pay for the replacements parts as well. Please do bear with us for a couple of days to get this processed. We do appreciate your feedback and of course will strive to do better.
