“Customer service isn’t great. No communication after purchase. I had to contact them myself and have been told that my bed is leaving their warehouse in a couple of days, four days later I had to call them myself again and have been told that my bed is only going to leave their warehouse in 3 days and at best is going to be with me in 8 days which is a delayed from a promised delivery date by a week. Why I have to find all that out myself. Why no one bothered to keep me up to date when I’m spending big amount of money.”

“Excellent product, exceptional quality and excellent after sales service...I had bought a bed from them many years back it still looks like new but then had some part damaged while shifting house and was willing to pay for the part. They not only were prompt in addressing my issue but replaced it free of cost. I would recommend buying from them blindfolded. Great job. Love it”

“They were true to their word item delivered as per the website 8-10 weeks. Instructions were clear just a few basic points missed that would of helped. well packed so no damage could happen to bed frame. solid frame with no movement once bed was put together. excellent item would recommend..... very pleased thank you”

“This is our forth purchase of your excellent beds, unfortunately you have change how the battens connect to the frame doing away with the plastic connectors. Our bed now squeaks with the slightest movement, it’s a nightmare and will have to go!”

Dear Clifford, Many thanks for your review. Please kindly try to loosen and retighten the bolts fully from the four legs / the joints and the underneath crossbar in order to fix the squeaky issue. “If you are looking for this type of bed, look no further. Excellent workmanship, quality and style. I've used my own mattress with Solomon double bed base and fits perfectly. A little fiddly to put together, definitely a two person job but well worth the effort. Delivery slightly late due to shipping/Covid delays ( only two weeks) but company kept me well informed of each stage. Delivery company very helpful and arrived two hours earlier than predicted. After using for a month even more pleased with this bed. So glad I chose OBC. First class company, first class bed, would highly recommend.”

“Despite a small delay in the bed being delivered I was kept up to date on expected arrival date. The bed arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble. Its sturdy, looks great and after a month of use has not developed any annoying squeaks or rattles. It feels very well made and I would recommend to anyone else thinking of buying this brand.”

“Excellent service from start to finish with my new bed and mattress delivered in just a few days. The small double is really sturdy and looks amazing in my cottage, and everything was supplied to put it together easily, with clear instructions and even a small spanner which was a thoughtful touch. I assembled the bed myself and the frame is really substantial, feels like it will last forever and is so comfortable.”

“We love our new bed, it’s the king size Edwardian in glossy ivory. Well made and very smart looking. I particularly like that there’s a choice of two heights as I prefer sleeping in a higher bed. It’s lovely. There was excellent and prompt communication with the company and the bed was well packaged to protect the parts.”

“The bed frame is well made, from good quality materials. Two things could be improved. The extension legs on the headend make the bed look less well made, would look better if the headend came in one piece. The bolts that are visible when the frame is together could be coloured the same as the frame so they are less noticeable.”

“We have slept on this bed for a week and just love it! It has a stunning presence about it, it is so sturdy and safe feeling (our last two beds broke within 6 months hence now buying a metal bed like this), it makes every thing around it/on it look beautiful and great base for my mattress. The website was really easy to use and delivery as expected and communicated well. Really pleased and excited to have such a lovely bed finally! Merry Christmas :)”
