“We purchased a single bed for my daughter, it's fantastic quality and extremely sturdy unlike the metal beds you can purchase elsewhere. Would highly recommend this company to others. Fast delivery and very helpful staff.”

“Spent an awful lot of money on a 'Hicks Blue' Ashley metal bed frame. Colour is gorgeous, but workmanship is poor. Some of the pieces have been cut at slight angles, meaning the frame doesn't fit together flush, isn't entirely level on floor and squeaks. Really disappointed! Wouldn't buy from them again.”

Please kindly note that the issues can be resolved with our team members if you could kindly send us your order number and some photos for the issues. Usually our beds are much sturdier and stronger so they don't produce any noises if the assembly is done correctly. We do provide a 5 year warranty against any manufacturing defects for our beds. “Excellent white king size bed (Hamilton). Heavy for me and easier with 2 to put together than 1. The long rods to hold on the brass rods at top and bottom were a conundrum to start with but fine once we read the instructions! I use my previous mattress - the bed is extremely comfortable , high height so easy for me, looks great. Delighted. Lots of choice online and prices excellent. No delay in delivery and helpful delivery men. Recommended by my daughter and I would recommend to others.”

“Absolutely fantastic bed frame and mattress, so pleased we ordered another for our sons room. Had a hiccup with delivery which was the fault of the delivery company but the OBC rectified this and we’re generous enough to refund delivery and brought a bed frame themselves from another store. Would certainly buy again from here.”

“I was concerned about how stable the bed would be, given the reasonable price, but my fears were unfounded. The bed is very sturdy. I have a very slight creak in one place but I’m sure I’ll find and resolve it, but I would buy this again. Quick deliver, too.”

“I absolutely LOVE my Ballina 4ft bedstead. It's so beautifully designed and looks great with the white antique French bedspread! The mattress is really well-made and very comfortable. “I've purchased two double bedsteads from OBC in the past few months. Easy to assemble, good look and good quality. Also bought a double mattress (wool interlayer), which is exceptionally comfortable.”

“Excellent quality beds that are simple to assemble and will last a lifetime. I can’t believe they are not double what we paid! We spent ages travelling around different shops looking at metal framed beds but most were made out of materials that wouldn’t last five minutes but then I found the Original Bed Company website. We took a trip to the Corby showroom just to check the quality and to ask a few specific questions and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We ordered a bed and mattress and it was delivered a week later by two very polite and helpful men. Very happy and would highly recommend!”

“We liked the bed we bought for our daughter so much we bought a king size for ourselves. Top quality product, easy to put together and most importantly so comfortable. The only issue is getting out of bed on the weekend!”

“I've bought two iron bed frames and one mattress from The Original Bed Company now and will be buying a third shortly for a spare room. Had my first one for about four years now and haven't had a squeak from it in all that time, it's still solid. Bought the second a few months ago along with one of the mattresses and the frame is the same great quality. The mattress is the most comfortable one I've ever had and I wish I'd bought one for the first bed at the time as well. Overall great looks and quality, I've recommended them to friends and will be buying from them again.”

“Very happy with the bed we bought. I was a little apprehensive about buying online without seeing the bed in a showroom, but it was better than expected. The quality is extremely good and it was easy to put together. We had a slight issue with missing instructions, but after telephoning an email with the instructions was sent through immediately! I would 100% recommend this company.”

“We were very happy from the time we ordered our bed and mattress to the delivery and removal of the old one. The person who delivered and assembled it for us couldn't have been more patient and helpful. He was lovely! I would definitely recommend his company.”
