I did not receive the items I ordered. When I enquired I was told that they had been put on a transport for delivery but had then got lost! When I asked for replacements I was told all but one had sold out. I am still waiting for a refund.

The item I ordered was a lot smaller than it looked on your site, it will not suit the purpose I wanted it for but will not be bothering to send back.

We booked afternoon tea weeks ago. We arrived to no table reserved, we had to sort tables ourselves, moving them from an over a very full cafe. As our reservation had been missed we then waited a long time for our tea. Everyone seemed crammed in with customers having to move from their chairs to let others by. The poor waiter was excellent but obviously flustered. So very disappointing as I love the garden centre and visit frequently, but this has left me feeling I won't be wanting to return anytime soon.

Good Afternoon, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your visit to our Railway Restaurant was not at the normal high-standards we expect. We have spoken to the kitchen and front of staff gain a further understanding of what occurred that day. The restaurant staff had reserved a table for you however unfortunately other customers ignored the reserved sign and proceeded to sit on that table. One of the things I ordered was broken. I emailed and attached photos, nobody contacted me to apologize or replace. Won't purchase from them again. Very disappointed.

Dear Paula, We are sorry to see that you have provided us with a 1 star review regarding your purchase. We also apologise for a some of the shortbread's you ordered arriving damaged. We replied to you on Thursday 21st November acknowledging and offering a solution regarding the damaged order however we did not receive a response from this matter. Dear Mark, Many thanks for taking the time to review us. We are very sorry to see that you have left us a 1 star review. We apologise for two pieces of the BBQ shelter arriving damaged. We had organised the damaged pieces to be replaced with new sections and have continuously chased our supplier to investigate the exact date of the replacements, which also kept you informed of. However as requested we have organised the shelter to collected from you and will refund your order in full on receipt. Unfortunately the chair I ordered and paid for was not actually in stock. Therefore, with a website not updated stock availability is poor.

Pounced on by black Labrador in car park so not good. Myself and my daughter were unloading our dogs from the car when this loose dog pounced on my daughters Jack Russell and jumped up at my daughter. It would not leave us alone and when I asked a member of staff in the car park who’s dog it was and explained how it was jumping on our dog he said it belonged to a member of staff and to take it up with him, then walked off! We grabbed it when it ran behind a car reversing then it ran off. It may well be harmless but we don’t wish to have it jumping all over us when we are getting out of the car. Needless to say we had a drink and decided to leave the store without looking around.

I ordered an ornament from you and it came smashed which I fully understand isn’t your fault and most likely happened in transit. I called the second it was delivered and reported that it was broken. I spoke to someone on the phone who told me to take photos and email them over which I did immediately. It’s been almost a week and nothing back. It cost me £52 so am waiting for either a refund or a replacement to be sent. It’s for a birthday present so would like to know asap.

glad I was asked for a review as my partner advised not to complain speak with our feet-we will just never visit again. I have been a regular visitor. BUT Fri 28Th June 4 people inc I child came in to eat about 12.30 v busy. we ordered-I bake potato with curry of day- I noticed she crossed it off the board following my order when it came v tiny bakepotato with this bit of sauce & I small piece of chicken looked pathetic- (we just looked at each other) which my partner said sauce did not taste like chicken tikka. My grandson had sausage & mash- the sausages were white in colour with all the skin hanging off in places which looked quite frankly disgusting so I tried to remove the skin for him but he left most of it which did not surprise me. my daughter ordered the bake potatoe with just salad this came with no butter. On reflection I wish I had taken the 2 meals back and ask the staff would they want to eat it- but it was so busy. My conclusion is you have expanded the car park- lovely BUT not expanded the kitchen. our experience was awefull- so disappointing- I brought my daughter & grandson along as it was one of our favourite places to dine.- Judith Morgan-I do have a loyalty card.-look me up!!!

Plants were great as usual. But it would be helpful if you could arrange to have VAT amounts displayed on your till slips so we don't have to hassle staff at check-out. In the restaurant, your staff do NOT know how to make smoothies! Half the mix was solid ice cubes, not even crushed ice. £3 for frozen water? No thanks. In any event, smoothies are normally made with a yoghurt base...not ice. What you are trying to make--unsuccessfully--is frappés. Very disappointing.
