“The consultant took her time, and was thorough and careful, even alerting me to a possible mole under my toe-nail which needs further investigating. I would never have picked that up on my own.”

“I could not have been happier with the experience that I had at The Mole Clinic. The staff were very professional and I was impressed at the level of attention to detail that the nurse displayed when checking my skin. “Excellent service - was seen to immediately at my appointment time, felt as though I was thoroughly examined and was given my post appointment report the same day. Would recommend for peace of mind as skin cancer is the most common form of cancer globally.”

“Having used the services of The Mole Clinic since they opened for annual screening, I am really impressed with them. I have very fair skin and a number of moles. They have accurately scanned me and mapped my moles and have been quick to pick up any changes during my scans. They also accurately diagnosed another skin condition which my GP had kept telling me was eczema which turned out to be a more serious condition requiring treatment. The staff are friendly and polite and the screening is thorough. The costs are fairly priced and the peace of mind the scanning brings is immeasurable.”

“I was very pleased that I decided to go to the clinic to have check on a small lesion that had recently appeared on my arm. It seemed too small to fuss over but I felt it was odd that it was still there after a couple of months. My GP said it was nothing to worry about but I still felt uneasy. The nurse at the Mole Clinic advised that it looked very much like a basal cell carcinoma and advised getting it checked at a dermatology clinic. A photo was taken of it and short report written to give to the GP. I am waiting for an appointment and am glad to be able to catch it at an early stage if it is needed.”

“I was really impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the screening nurse, Rebecca Maxwell, and the general good service provided by The Mole Clinic. Rebecca did a great job, really listened to my concerns and explained everything fully including what to expect after the consultation. After a very thorough examination, she recommended a further dermoscopic assessment of 1 mole which was subsequently found to be a pre-cancerous lesion. Rebecca followed up my consultation with a telephone call the next day and I also received a full copy of the report very promptly, as promised. Top class customer service. Thanks Rebecca and the Mole Clinic - the reassurance and peace of mind was well worth the cost. E.Kehoe, August 2014”

“The service was professional and efficient, and a report was sent out electronically. My only gripe is that for something as straightforward as actinic keratosis, for which there is a straightforward treatment, they are unable to give you a prescription. You have to go to your doctor for that.”

“I come for a check up every two or three years and this time, the nurse found a new mole that she thought was a bit suspicious, so she referred me to a consultant. I went this morning and the consultant thinks it's okay but will take it out soon, just to make sure. I am very pleased I went to the Mole Clinic as this mole was on the back of my arm near the shoulder and I hadn't noticed it before. If it had been nasty, it would have been good to get treatment sooner rather than later. I will certainly keep returning for my regular check ups.”

“Very helpful. I think perhaps one thing could be looked into. When I was there, I didn't have my cd of mole photos. Is there anyway you can keep on file? or when giving the cd's you keep an extra one on file. I also think having to fill out an entry form everytime is a waste of paper. Would be good to just have to give name at reception and the staff can sign us in via our page on the site. add the date and keep the record for next time. Perhaps this is already done but it wasn't when I came in. Everything else was great and very good service.”

“The nurse was very thorough and very informative about the various skin conditions that one can get. She was friendly and put me at ease. After the consultation she got me a leaflet and I left feeling very satisfied. The follow up letter summarising my visit did not arrive so smoothly. Reception tried to send it by email a number of times but it never arrived and I had to request a copy be put in the post. This has arrived but I do not understand why I could get emails telling me the letter was being sent and then no email letter.!!”

“I would highly recommend the Mole Clinic. I didn't quite know what to expect when I turned up and was quite nervous. However, the reception staff were helpful, and the specialist nurse put me at my ease, was highly efficient, knowledgeable and above all pleasant. I was also emailed a full report of what emerged from the consultation and advice about what to do next.”

“The whole experience was very efficient and professional. The examination was very thorough( I don't think one mole missed her beady eyes!!) and all questions were answered in a clear straight forward manner. Additional help and advice was offered during the consultation. I would strongly recommend this as service to any one. There was no hard sell of repeat visits or other treatments. I will most certainly be returning for my recommended follow up in 2 years.”
