“This is a copy of email I sent to Renae on 5 April: "Dear Renae Just wanted to say a quick thank you for your great assessment at my consultation on the 4 Feb 2014. I had seen a dermatologist on the Isle of Man a year ago, who assured me that the lesions on my legs were nothing to worry about. After your report, I saw my GP on the Isle of Man who reluctantly gave me a referral letter to Dr Lever, as she said that I had already seen the dermatologist. I insisted on a referral and saw Dr Lever last month who performed biopsies. I received the pathology results yesterday and they have both come back as BCCs. I am seeing my GP next week to start treatment with Aldara cream and just wanted to say thank you for advising further assessment. Kind regards Claire Novellie"”

“Very efficient and friendly, reassuring professional service. The computers seem a bit slow for the amount of images and data they are meant to process, and as a returning customer, it would be good not to have to rehearse my history completely from scratch each time! But I like the service and will be back.”

“An essential service. Very thorough and has enabled me to have follow up referrals to dermatolgists to check suspect lesions in detail and have some removed. Prevention or early diagnosis better than leaving it until problems are at an advanced stage.”

“Having been a bit of a sun-worshipper in my younger days I tend to get a little anxious over any new moles or marks on my skin. I have visited the Mole Clinic a couple of times for a full check and have been given helpful and detailed advice. The people I have seen have always been very pleasant and reassuring and taken the time to answer my questions as fully as possible. I would thoroughly recommend the clinic to anyone.”

“The nurse was extremely helpful and reassuring, taking time to answer all my questions and to go over every inch of me with her various screening devices. I was seen almost immediately I arrived and, in total, the service was excellent. I shall certainly use The Mole Clinic again.”

“I have been to the Mole Clinic for an annual check for the last three years. The nurses are professional and efficient. The reception staff are polite. I myself am an RGN, and feel confident that I am in the hands of professionals. I have needed referral on one occasion for a skin condition, and this was also handled efficiently. I have no hesitation in recommending the Mole Clinic.”

“I booked a routine check up for which the consultant found two skin legions that I had not even noticed on my back. Since referring to my Private health insurance I have been treated for the legions and hopefully will make a full recovery. I would never of known about this had I not had a full body survey carried out by the Mole Clinic. Experienced consultant/dermatologists are what you need for these kind of skin deformities.”

“I've visited The Mole Clinic twice over the past few years. I am very fair and until my first visit I thought I was very moley! I have had 2 moves removed in the past so it's important to me to ensure that I keep an eye on them. On both occasions I've experienced a thorough visual check of all of my moles, which has given me peace of mind. The nurses are excellent and ensure all of my questions are answered, however silly they might seem to me, and they supply a wealth of information. As someone who wants to make sure they are looking after their skin in the sun, but does enjoy going abroad a lot, knowing that this facility is available is comforting. I would highly recommend everyone gets checked out. With skin cancer on the increase the cost is well worth it considering it could save your life.”

“I've been going to the Mole Clinic for a few years now and they are very good at sending annual reminders. Last year, following a reminder, they found a mole that they thought needed further attention and they gave me a list of specialists to choose from. I went immediately and the mole was removed then and there. Fortunately it wasn't malignant, but the doctor had concerns before the biopsy results came back, so I am extremely grateful at the speed of a) the results from the initial mole check at the Mole Clinic and, b) how quickly they helped me in getting it dealt with. If I hadn't had the reminder to go for my annual check up, things could have been very different, so thank you very much Mole Clinic. If you've never had a check up before, it takes less than fifteen minutes and the staff are really helpful and efficient. I can't recommend them enough and it really is worthwhile.”

“My husband and I have been to the clinic several times; our appointments have always been on time and the nurses have been very pleasant and extremely thorough. A couple of suspect moles have been found and they have been dealt with very quickly. An very good experience and certainly worth the cost.”

“I've been to the Mole Clinic a couple of times now. I'm a redhead with moles and even though i've kept an eye on them myself over the years, it's so much better getting an expert to take a look and put your mind at rest. They are so nice and make you feel at ease, even though you are standing in your underwear! i felt comfortable and felt i could ask any questions i wanted. Questions were answered with so much information and i always feel so relieved when i come out knowing that my moles are ok. I've had one mole checked out as it was a different colour to my others, but they got back to me as quickly as possible and luckily everything was ok. i will make sure i have a yearly mole check and would advise everyone to do this. Always better to be safe as there are places on your body you can never see properly! Great place to come and would definitely recommend.”

“Good choice of times for appointments. Staff were efficient & professional, as well as polite. I left with a sense that the check up was complete, and that I did not need to worry. If there was anything at all suspicious, they let me know what to keep an eye on; and they were able to answer all my questions.”
