Fantastic, extremely well informed & friendly nurse. Taught me exactly what I need to be looking for - much better than the generalised advice you find online. Felt I was really in a safe pair of hands

1. Expensive!! £30 per image over and above the £135 assessment. I would recommend going to your GP and straight to a specialist/dermatologist. 2. Phones are not answered - says it is open until 7pm but seems to be unavailable after 5pm 3. Report link is poorly time limited which does not make much sense

Thank you for using and reviewing our service. I confirm our services are competitively priced and reflect the costs of providing a high quality clinical service. NHS GPs do not offer full body screening and will only refer a patient to a specialist if they diagnose a skin lesion as suspect. However, it is worth reading this article before seeing a GP - https://www.theguardian.com/society/2016/sep/21/gps-fail-refer-one-in-three-people-malignant-melanoma-urgent-tests. I confirm we are open Mon - Thurs 8am - 7pm and Fri 8am - 5pm. Our staff work hard to ensure all calls are quickly answered, but demand for our service is very high and I am sorry if you experienced any delay. Our Reports are emailed to patients with a link which expires after 7 days for data security purposes - if a link expires then a new link can be requested by phone or online message. I hope you find this helpful. Kind regards, Iain Mack, MD & Founder, The MOLE Clinic.

Second time I've been to the clinic - on both occasions found them professional and very thorough, friendly and approachable and put you at ease.

I booked an appointment very easily online for the following day at a time which was convenient for me. I was seen at the clinic on time and the nurse was very nice, professional, explained everything in detail and was very quick but thorough with the assessment.

Exceeded expectation in efficiency, top of the line in communication (phone call, follow up text, emailed report, and reminder to check spam in case it didn't arrive), Report proved clinical thoroughness, which reassured me as an allied health professional who could assess the transparent process they use.

streamline booking, friendly FOH, efficient Nurse, verbal expectation of 3 days for report as opposed to Website offer of 1 day - though did still beat this time, texts to alert for forthcoming email and reminder to check spam filter if not in the in-box, report enough information to show thoroughness, phone call prior to report. Over all service exceeded expectation.

I really liked Sandra. She was friendly and kind. However, I received an email and phone call very quickly after my appt. requesting that I ring to discuss the results. This caused me great concern as I began to assume they must have been suspicious. But it was just to tell me to rebook in a months time. I queried this and they confirmed that my mole wasn't suspicious but it needed to be checked in a month. I would like to have been told of this before my first appt because instead of being £45 for a mole check, it becomes £80. I cam to the mole Clinic because the £45 was an affordable way to check a mole.

Thank you for reviewing our service. Most moles we image and diagnose as typical, requiring no further action. However, If we image a mole and diagnose it as mildly atypical and its history is uncertain, we may recommend that the mole is re-imaged in the future to determine whether it is stable or changing. Most moles are subsequently confirmed as stable and an unnecessary removal avoided. However, some are subsequently confirmed as changing and removal can confirm an early, life-threatening melanoma. I hope this helps clarify matters for you. Kind regards, Iain Mack, Founder and MD, The MOLE Clinic.
