“Nurse unprofessional, told stories and made jokes about other clients. Nurse didn't know about research in the area, and didn't seem keen to answer questions. One mole referred on, got the feeling she wouldn't have referred it if we hadn't pointed it out to her. Worried she may have missed something; not a pleasant experience.”

“Rebecca made me feel at ease the minute I met her she explained everything thoroughly to me and I am so glad I decided to have the mole test done, I have already recommended the clinic and Rebecca to my family. I will now return yearly for a full check up, it's really a great idea for peace of mind. thank you very much”

“My experience at The Mole Clinic was excellent on every level. It's a busy clinic but they moved 'heaven and earth' to find me an appointment that enabled me to visit on a rare day in London. The actual examination was thorough and done by someone who was reassuring, caring and sensitive. The results of my examination which turned out to be positive (thank goodness) were with me quickly and were laid out clearly in great detail. All in all, 10 out of 10!”

“I turned up very early, as it was very wet out and was greeted pleasantly shown where to sit and offered a drink and reading material.When my husband who was not a patient arrived he was treated the same. When I went it for my check up I felt it was very reassuring and very efficient, a second person was called in to verify one doubtful mole and I was advised to have a picture taken and it was referred to a specialist . Within a few days I had received pictures and further advice at home . As it was on a different system to our computor I was unable to print parts of the information ,I rang the Clinic who were again extremely polite and helpful and sent me the details by the next days post. Excellent service”

“It is pitiful that the NHS does not provide free mole screening. By diagnosing a developing melonoma early, the potential huge costs of the treatment and ongoing care of the patient would be greatly reduced. I have recently lost my dad to this terrible disease and would urge you to take the potential risks of developing this cancer very seriously indeed. The effects on the patient and their family are traumatic and yet the solution is simple; keep checking your moles in accordance with the advice you will get from the mole clinic. Become aware of your moles and how they look, keep an eye out for anything irregular. I have now visited the mole clinic twice, there is a great and reassuring feeling of professionalism and intelligence, in my opinion they are the best in the field. I have recommended many people to visit and will continue to do so.”

“My nurse was fantastic. Appointment punctuality needs to be improved. I was half hour early for my appointment, yet I was waiting for ten minutes passed my appointment time. I would expect this with the NHS, but when I'm paying money for the appointment I expect to always be on time.”

“I was fitted in at short notice. Upon arrival, reception was welcoming and calming. I was seen promptly by a very pleasant nurse. She examined the growth in question and proceeded with a TELEDerm . Throughout, she was professional, reassuring and explained everything fully. The results came back within 24 hours. I absolutely recommend the Mole Clinic and I will definitely be going back for regular check ups.”
