“I was seen on-time. The nurse was very helpful in explaining the nature of moles and similar skin conditions, always offering the chance to ask questions. The mole check itself was very thorough and various different things on my skin were pointed out and explained. Two problematic moles were pointed out and the necessary action explained in a straightforward and undramatic way, with no steering towards the Mole Clinic's services instead of the NHS. One thing that I knew about was the extra charge for Telederm photos to be taken (£35 per picture, a discount of 30% when you have them done during a mole check ), but I failed to appreciate when the nurse said that she would need to take pictures of the problem moles that this was what was required. I was a bit unprepared for the extra charge at reception (£60 for the two images). However, getting the pictures done resulted in a very thorough report that I was able to give to my GP and get an immediate referral to a specialist, and I would have paid for them anyway so not the end of the world. Overall a very good service.”

“I attended the clinic to have my moles checked. I saw the specialist Nurse, she gave me her expert appointment and was very helpful in how I should manage them. I was very happy with the diagnoses”

“The online booking service is very convienent and all staff members are friendly. It can be a little daunting having a full body examination where you do need to be partially undressed, however, the staff are always professional and make you feel at ease. I do recommend this service.”

“Really lovely specialist, was very informative and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Only thing I would say was that there was no mention of added cost if pic of mole is sent for additional check. Only realised that when I got told at reception and would have preferred to have known what the options were upfront.”

“A friend who had a "problematic" mole suggested that I got what I thought was a rather large freckle checked out so I went to the Mole Clinic to get it checked out. I was closely examined all over and the "large freckle" turned out by be a harmless seborrhoeic keratosis. Booked online. Worth having the experts check you out of you have any concerns”
