“Overall a very good experience; my nurse (Claire) was very knowledgable and thorough. My only points would be that the reception staff were impeccably dressed whereas the nurses trousers were all different and some appeared more scruffy than others with some in faded black jeans. I would have thought in a healthcare environment there would have been a higher standard. The main reason I did not book my follow up review with Mole Clinic was due to lack of information on the website regarding the dermatologists that would be seen. If paying a private fee for a review I would want to be able to know who I have the option of seeing and their background and biography. This was the main reason I went elsewhere. Overall seemed a very nice place to visit and a good experience, but clearly there are things that could be done to improve your competitiveness in I'm sure what is a crowded market.”

“The nurse that examined me was first class, no faulting her. However I think the follow up report should be improved. I was told I have 5 moles to keep an eye on ... but no mention of which ones in my follow up report. Without a record they can't be monitored which sort of defeats the purpose?”

Thank you for reviewing our MOLECHECK service and for rating your Screening Nurse as 'first class'. The purpose of MOLECheck is to screen for any moles which are atypical and require diagnosis using our TELEDerm service. If a patient has moles which are atypical but do not require diagnosis, we normally recommend our MOLEMap service to help monitor all their moles for change over time. I apologise if this was not made clear to you and recommend you book our MOLEMap service if you wish help with monitoring your moles. “I thought it was quite expensive, but the specialist nurse who checked my moles was charming, knowledgeable and efficient. She was reassuring and gained my trust instantly. I would certainly recommend the service.”

“Great selection of appointment times, very friendly and courteous specialists who never make you feel like a bother. Thorough and good examination where they explain things at every stage. Report is back very fast too. Very satisfied. We need this preventative check up system for other kinds of cancers I believe.”

“I thought the Mole clinic was very efficient . Very knowledgeable. A very kind nurse who took alot of time to go through my concerns . I would recommend the place to others if you are worried about any changes skin marks etc”

“After years of reading about how excellent The Mole Clinic is I finally made an appointment. I was not disappointed. From the ease of online booking, to the extremely thorough mole check and fast but amazing mole mapping through to delivery of reports all the service was way beyond my already high expectations. I particularly appreciated the phenomenal detail of the report and recommendations. Utterly amazing. I wish I had gone years ago. I would recommend to anyone who has concerns. Go now!”
