“My order arrived on time with the delivery driver phoning approx 1 hour prior to delivery which was good as I was 140 miles away at the time so arranged to have someone meet with the driver for delivery, logs are good quality bur well with a good heat level will use this organisation in future.”

“Ordering was made easy due to the staff you talk to. Purchased a large oak crate, no spaces found so far but don’t expect any... Excellent delivery and extremely helpful driver. “Extremely disappointed with quality of wood. I purchased supersize bulk bag of kiln dried Ash. Good service, efficient delivery but the wood is dreadful. Does not burn well, need vents on stove open permanently to maintain any type of flame - and still struggles to get to temperature. Definitely not only Ash - received a mix of wood. Won’t be buying from here again - cheaper than Certainly Wood but absolutely no comparison in terms of quality.”

“We purchased a large pallet of kiln dried oak from The Luxury Wood Company in December. It was promptly.delivered with no fuss. It was delivered the same time we had our log burner installed and the installers were so impressed with the purchased wood, in particular the little moisture (2%) that they took the details of The Luxury Wood Company themselves and then and there ordered their own wood. I'll certainly be using them again”

“I bought a large sack of dry kiln logs for my log burner last year and they were great and so did the same again this year in December 2 weeks before Christmas. However it immediately became clear that something was different with the new batch of logs as they just weren’t burning properly. They were smoking, not catching and I needed to repeatedly use more fire lighters to keep the logs burning. The response from luxury wood was to buy from amazon a gadget that measures the mosture in the logs at my expense to make sure the moisture was correct. I did this at a cost of £12 and was on the phone with the company for 40 minutes a week before Christmas. They explained that the moisture content was good and so there must be an issue with my log burner. I explained my burner was not the issue - the logs were the issue. After spending so much time trying to sort out the issue including asking to have the logs collected and refunded ( told not possible unless I personally packaged up all the logs myself) and paid delivery fees I gave up. I will use the logs with lots of fire lighters but won’t use this company again for my logs unfortunately.”

“Very good logs and well priced. Was disappointed not to be given prior notification of ETA of the delivery by the driver, although this has always happened in the past On arrival it was found that the pallet was broken so the driver and I hsd to offload the nets of logs by hand. Very helpful and friendly delivery driver. Not the first time that I have used Luxury Wood. Am happy and will use them again”

“Ordering on line is easy. The delivery company gives a date that they kept ,the driver was polite & helpful& most importantly the crate is packed very fully & the wood burns beautifully. If the delivery firm could give a morning or afternoon delivery time rather than the whole day it would be perfect”
