“No problem with the delivery, The crate was deposited where requested, slightly disappointed that a number of smaller , kindling type pieces were to be found in the middle of the stack, which obviously burnt much quicker.”

“Once again the Luxury Wood Co exceeded my expectations. The lady i dealt with on the phone was extremely helpful and worked delivery around my many medical appointments and the delivery driver on the day was very helpful and managed to deliver to the right spot despite our sloping drive. “Excellent wood, sufficiently dry to burn well. I've made loads of first rate kindling out of the crate. Very good value for money. Only downside was, the delivery driver wouldn't bring it down our drive, so we had to cart it 60 metres by hand to our woodstore. We have had a full-size furniture lorry down this driveway, with no problem. Perhaps it would be better to deliver it in something smaller than an 18 tonner. No doubt, the exercise was good for us! Would definitely buy again.”

“The delivery company do not provide suitable equipment to safely and efficiently deliver c1 tonne of logs. The driver really struggled and the handling process could be described, at best, as a very risky operation. The pallet lift is simply not wide enough to safely handle the crate. The HSE would be horrified to witness the procedure. With my help the delivery took the best part of 1/2 hour. I would not be prepared to buy again from Luxury Wood unless a more efficient and safer handling method was adopted. The quality of the logs appear acceptable but none have been used at this point in time.”

“Hardwood heat logs are long burning with minimum ash. Full birch pallet appears smaller than others purchased. Excellent delivery, placing both pallets inside a garage where all previous deileries have failed.”

“The wood was dry, clean, of uniform length and thickness...ideal for my size of stove. It burns well with low ash content. It was delivered well stacked in a frame on a pallet & plastic sheeted, so shower proof if required. The frame has provided enough kindling for at least 2 months fires...price was lower than most competitors... I would recommend”

“I ordered a full crate of Oak from the luxury wood company after my usual supplier didn't have any wood in stock. The wood was dry, well sized and a good quantity for the price. Delivery was good and I even managed to change the delivery date, while it was en route. Will be ordering again. Would definitely recommend.”

“I've ordered a few times from Luxury Wood and never had any issues. This order was for a large crate of oak logs. These arrived on the agreed delivery date having received a call from the delivery company the day before to arrange. The crate contained some small pieces, very handy for lighting but the bulk of the crate was medium to large logs. We have a small log burner so one of these large logs will fill it but for me that's ideal, so long as it's on a hot bed it's going to burn for a long time and give off a lot more heat, for me larger logs give more bang for the buck. I was absolutely delighted with this delivery as the mix of logs was for me ideal. The oak has a lovely smell sitting on the hearth waiting to be burnt and as there's been a few chilly evenings we've now burnt some, it burns really well, lots of heat but not too quick. Really looking forward to having one of the larger logs on when it is really cold. If you've never had oak then it is a lovely wood to burn but in my opinion (others may not agree) when you unpack it, it is a little bit messier than other woods, there's more little bits come off it, a tap before stacking removes but other woods do seem cleaner. For me it's worth getting the broom out after stacking because of the way oak burns and the heat output. A final bonus, the crate was really good timber and makes excellent kindling, I'm sure you'd have to spend at least £20 to buy that much kindling.”
