“This was a reasonably priced gift and my friend really loved it. The only negative is there is no gift note option so if this is being sent to someone as a gift you have to purchase a card. This is completely fine however, the card arrived on a completely separate day and about 3 days earlier than the gift which is a shame. I had to explain there would be a separate gift coming and then when the gift actually arrived, they didn't know who it was from.”

I am sorry to read you are not completely happy with your experience. Whilst we do make the majority of our orders in house, we also work with a number of suppliers who specialise in other areas to offer a wider variety of gifts.
This means that we cannot always guarantee that all elements of an order will arrive in the same parcel, I do understand that this isn't always ideal especially if the gift is going directly to the recipient.
I hope this didn't diminish your experience significantly and that the gift was well received.

“Ordering was easy online. I chose a personalised gift. Delivery was delayed due to the postal workers strike but when it was received it was well packaged and no damage had occurred to the cut glass tumblers. I was a little disappointed with the engraving. Although beautifully done, it was a bit feint and I had expected a more obvious engraving. However, the gift itself was well received and I was happy with my purchase.”
Thanks for your review, I'm so glad you are happy with your order! I am sorry that the engraving wasn't as prominent as you'd have liked, unfortunately we can only engrave to a certain depth without damaging the glass.
I am also very sorry to read that delivery took a little longer than estimated. Unfortunately, there can be unforeseen delays in the Royal Mail network which we have no control over, I know how frustrating it is to be waiting on a delivery and I can only apologise once again for any upset or inconvenience caused.

“I ordered a personalised cheeseboard. The website does not allow you to select the layout and when it arrived the wording barely made sense, being incorrectly spaced. I contacted Gift Experience and they were very helpful and immediately arranged a replacement. Originally I paid for next day delivery and that service was faultless , for the replacement also. I was given a 1hr time slot which was strictly adhered to.
I did request that the layout was confirmed to me prior to sending the replacement, which did not happen, but fortunately it was processed as I had requested.
It would be better if an option to display the layout was included when placing the order.”

“I ordered a Heritage Plaque. The process of personalising the item was clear and easy and I was delighted with the finished result. It is good quality plastic and a fun gift but perhaps a little pricey unless for a special occasion. A big plus was that it arrived well within the time scale promised as I was a bit late ordering!!! All this deserves 5 stars but the post and packing charge was steep considering it only came in a ‘do not bend’ envelope and is very light, I was expecting it to be in a box. This is the reason for only 4 stars.”
