The packaging could have been better because the postman pushed the item through the letterbox in his usual rough, inconsiderate way and ripped the packaging, which could have damaged the product. “I ordered a personalised cheeseboard. The website does not allow you to select the layout and when it arrived the wording barely made sense, being incorrectly spaced. I contacted Gift Experience and they were very helpful and immediately arranged a replacement. Originally I paid for next day delivery and that service was faultless , for the replacement also. I was given a 1hr time slot which was strictly adhered to.
I did request that the layout was confirmed to me prior to sending the replacement, which did not happen, but fortunately it was processed as I had requested.
It would be better if an option to display the layout was included when placing the order.”

“I ordered a Heritage Plaque. The process of personalising the item was clear and easy and I was delighted with the finished result. It is good quality plastic and a fun gift but perhaps a little pricey unless for a special occasion. A big plus was that it arrived well within the time scale promised as I was a bit late ordering!!! All this deserves 5 stars but the post and packing charge was steep considering it only came in a ‘do not bend’ envelope and is very light, I was expecting it to be in a box. This is the reason for only 4 stars.”

“The item i ordered was delivered on time after paying for Saturday delivery. Unfortunately I missed the courier by 5minutes and the parcel wasn’t left in a safe place. But it was redelivered the following day. The gift arrived and the box was damaged which meant i had to quickly find an alternative gift box to make it presentable. I contacted the company to advise and they offered 10% back. The person i dealt with was friendly and helpful and the gift itself was lovely. I didn’t take the 10% offer, but was glad they took on board that their outer packaging could be better to protect the gift box for future orders. Overall the experience was good but better outer packaging could be better.”

“Not knowing what to expect, the Name a Rose gift was ordered for a rose-loving friend’s 60th. After an unfortunate loss in transit of the original dispatch, a replacement was sent immediately. Email contact was prompt and polite whilst a new order was made. I think my friend will be interested in the thought behind the choice. Only time will tell whether the rose seeds will yield over years to come, but recording the name chosen for the rose is a great attraction for this big birthday gift.”
