So excited about a delivery for welks 4 bags cost me 30.10p and wot was delivered was very disappointing.so small the bag of.i could get 1 bag from Fleetwood fish for 6.99 and paid the tram fare of 6pound really really disappointing

Hello Peter We're sorry that you were so disappointed. The cooked whelk meat has received 4.7 out of 5 from 100 customers however we accept that taste will always be subjective. You ordered 4 x 200g cooked whelk meat which is £5.80 per pack. Hopefully, that is what you received. We offer free delivery on orders over £50 but because the value of your order was £23.20 you incurred a delivery charge of £6.50 which you would have been aware of at the time of placing your order.

We're assuming you received an email asking you to review your order? Such emails are auto generated and are usually sent out 8-10 days after an order is placed. I can see your order was placed on 11/04 but is not due for delivery until 23/04. Apologies for any alarm caused and hope you enjoy your fish once it arrives!

Poor quality of hake and cod orders and many broken and damaged mussels. The prawn order was dreadful , tasteless and hard consistency and were inedible and had to be thrown away

Reading your review was the first time we were aware that you weren't entirely happy with your order. We contacted you to let you know that your delivery was going to be delivered a day late and subsequently sent a follow up email but heard nothing further. Customer service was good however did not resolve the problem or even attempt to - mostly repeated the same content in the next 10 emails. Did not receive my parcel, yet was blamed for not "providing an adequate safe place" to which I can understand. But please explain to me how my parcel was not placed in the location of the delivery photo is not ADEQUATE for a refund?

Because I received a text saying my package has arrived but the driver didn't even ring our door, there was no package left anywhere and we have no food for a dinner party tomorrow evening....shocking

As soon as we knew that your order didn't arrive as planned, we arranged for a replacement order to be delivered on Sat 5th March , the date you requested. We can see that it was delivered at 13.12 so trust all is well.

I am 80 years old and had many many bucklings in my life but the ones from you where the worst I ever had,,,,,,,,,,like pate covered with skin........even my cats did not touch it.......discusting regards karl fischer

Peeled King prawns utterly tasteless. At a £1 a prawn, I expected considerably more. The texture was good but there the positives end. The remaining bag will go to the cats.

Delivery very efficient. Black cod great tasting, but whole mussels extremely disappointing. A quarter of them did not open on cooking, so wasted and little flavour (suspect farming in Chile not as good as fresh from Scotland). However biggest complaint is lack of response to email when these issues were communicated. So sad that once again customer service lets down potentially great concept.

Hello Steve I was troubled by your reply. We have an excellent customer services team and a good reputation for customer care. I have scoured our emails for one from you but it was nowhere to be found! Please send me a copy of it. Regarding the mussels, I am sorry for the experience you had. We have been reviewing this item recently and although they are often very good, they are sometimes not. So we are withdrawing this line and swapping to a different brand. AListair

Hello Lucy we are sorry that you were so disappointed with all of your first order. Until we read your reviews, we were unaware that you were unhappy. Our paella kits have received many 5 star reviews and we sold 40 packs in December with no comments such as yours.
