My order came on a Saturday defrosted. When I rang to complain the person on the phone said it was ok to freeze again, but I had previously done this and the lobster was soggy and rotten. And on reading if it was safe to do this it said it was not safe to eat. I will never use this company again.

They left our package two doors down for over an hour in boiling sun & didn’t take our complaint seriously. I had to ring again to get action & the operator wasn’t bothered. Poor service given our great support to you. Very very disappointing.

after placing my order i got an email saying there was a delay and it "may" arrive the next day. It didnt arrive the next day and ive had absolutely no updates as to where the package is. In my order status it just says "sent". Complete let down and wont order again.

Unfortunately, there was an issue with our couriers regarding your delivery. This was out of our hands and we apologised at the time. We have since given you a full refund.

Wild king prawn tails: not right, something went wrong with the farming/ harvesting. They don’t taste or feel right. Have tried a number of times and every time inedible. Avoid.

Hello Colin Reading your review was the first time we were aware that there was a problem with your recent delivery. I have tried to call but no reply. So long as the contents of your order were still cold to the touch then it is perfectly OK to re-freeze. I have just raised a complaint about short weight delivery of crab claws. I received 7 weighing 170gm including packaging. You advertise 8 to 12 weighing 200gm. I fell for the 200gm proviso. No apology received, arrogant and defensive replies. I have been credited £3.06 by Lawrence Munro, Customer services Manager for an "alleged" shortfall. Where oh where do you get and train these people. I was schooled in the premise that "The customer is always right". Apparently not in your case. Can't wait to post mu review on other sites.

Hello Simon Reading your review was the first time that we were aware that you were not entirely happy with your oysters. We're pleased that we have had an opportunity to discuss this over the phone. You commented on the cost of the delivery but at the time of ordering, you would have been aware that we charge £6.50 for orders under £50 (orders over £50 are delivered free on weekdays to non-remote postcodes) and you also selected a by 1pm delivery which incurs a £5.00 surcharge.

I ordered the sushi fish kit ....well I received the kit but NO FISH! Ruined my Jubilee food. I have sent an e-mail but not had a reply. Ive still got the kit and I've still got the Monkfish which I put in my freezer but NO Sushi fish. I would like the fish so I could try doing Sushi myself. Please let me know what you will do. I'm not usually a complainer but I'm very disappointed. Unfortunately, DPD had difficulty in finding your address but successfully delivered your parcel a day later than originally planned once they had more directions to help them find your property. The contents of our orders are sufficiently well packed to cope with a day's delay so we're hopeful that despite being a day late, you were still able to enjoy the contents.

The Fish platter arrived 4 hours 37 outside the scheduled delivery time. So it was not possible to defrost it int time for a birthday celebration meal I had planned that day. Your information did not make it clear that this was acceptable for the delivery. I spoke to one of your staff who explained the situation. i emailed you the same day and i did not get a reply. As a result i will not be using your services again as it will be more reliable to go to a fishmonger.

Hi Gwyn, We are sincerely sorry that the birthday celebration didn't go to plan. Whilst DPD does give a 1 hour estimated delivery time slot it is just that, an estimate. The time slots are regrettably outside of our control and only advised on the day of delivery after we have despatched an order. The service we offer and advertise is a next day delivery. This can be anytime between the hours of 8am and 6pm on the selected date. From the tracking, we can see you received your order at 16.29 which is within this time frame. We apologise for not responding to your e-mail. We have looked at all our e-mail channels and can't seem to find a record of this, please could you provide us with the e-mail address you used so we can avoid this in the future. We do everything we can to try and provide the best service possible for our customers.
