“Taking care over freezing and storage means the fish are excellent. If I lived close to a fishing harbour I would prefer fresh but this is a great solution to living far from the sea.”

“Great quality and great tasting fish sold by customer conscious company. If you want online fish, fish society is way to go. The prawns are to die for, soft flavoursome, prawns at their diddy pink best. I have already recommended fish society to my family.”

“We loved the fish that we bought on first joining but have been very disappointed by some of our later orders, sides of smoked salmon bought at discounted prices, inferior quality and certainly did not keeping well in the freezer. Likewise, fresh haddock fillets and smoked cods roe. I don't have time to write reviews each time and in any case thought it was just that one item but three times now is very disappointing. I wonder if it has something to do with orders arriving in less than frozen state but have always followed instructions. I'm sorry, but I can't afford to buy fish very often so it has to be good. Thank you , Penny G.”

“Can’t comment on the flavour of the prawns I bought as I haven’t eaten any yet. However the box was well packaged as it was quite thick, but I think more ice would have been better as some of the prawns were rather soft, although cold when put straight in the freezer”
