“The DHL courier used for the delivery chucked £85.00 worth of sockeye salmon over a bolted gate on a house a quarter of a mile from my delivery address, 45 mins early on the DHL advised delivery window. Please ensure DPD are used for future orders on my account.”

“I buy a limited amount of fish from The Fish Society because it it expensive but I particularly like the smoked salmon slices, the organic salmon fillets and the natural smoked haddock fillets. The quality of the fish is excellent and delivery is usually very good.”

“Ordered delivery for a certain day. DHL said that they had the delivery and they would be in touch. On the day, received a text saying that they would send another text when they were on their way. Received a text at about 2.00p.m. saying that the delivery had been delayed and would be with me the next day. The delivery arrived and most of the fish was completely defrosted. This is not the first time DHL has let me and yourselves down. I hate to think how the fish would have been if it had been delivered in the height of Summer. Not impressed.”

“Very good service like the fact that less plastic is used. Suggestion : offer a one year up-front discounted subcribtion fee.. (like OCADO etc) for those who don't like monthly payment on membersship .”

“My package was delayed in transit. Should have been delivered on the Saturday but arrived Monday. Not particularly happy with response from The Fish Society when I spoke to them by phone. I was told that as per their Ts & Cs then I had to take delivery and check the produce. Apparently, if it had defrosted and was cold to touch (like feeling that it had just come out the fridge) then it was fine to pop into my freezer. Highly subjective approach to say the least! As it happens, I opened the box with the courier in attendance. Contents had defrosted and there was a distinct fishy smell. Order was replaced and delivered the following day.”

“The items I ordered arrived promptly and were above my expectations on quality. The wild salmon fillets I tried were delectable. After my order arrived my partner placed an order and the prawn burgers she received were also mind blowing. I will be ordering again and do highly recommend giving the fish society a go.”

“The best way to buy fish in the UK. The fish tastes incredibly fresh, arrives frozen, rapid and efficient delivery. I am a regular buyer and I've never been disappointed. The luxury fish categories they sell are an amazing treat.”
