“Excellent quality & great choice of seafood products delivered to your door in good condition. Sadly for us, fish is becoming, like many other foods, an unaffordable luxury, so only buy when on offer.”

“I am always delighted to receive my Fish Society Box. It arrives within a couple of days. I take out all the goodies and the only difficult bit is deciding which to eat first. It's delicious, it saves me going to the shops, and it is one of life's little treats.”

Just as a quick tip for peace of mind: if the fish ever arrives slightly defrosted but is still cold to the touch, it is perfectly safe to cook up or pop straight into the freezer. “Fantasic service...checked out local shops providing the same products and they needed a couple of days. Another online provider almost a week. So to achieve a next day delivery (on a Saturday) to fulfil a last minute whim of an idea was amazing. Was priced appriopriately - others were charging silly prices. The products were received in good condition and still frozen due to the good packaging. Good sized oysters, shell on prawns were a bit mushy but to be expected after freezing but still tasty, good size crab claws, plump mussels, cockels, brown shrimp and the fruit de mer platter, it was all great. I have to give a 5* star rating as no one else was able to fulfil this last minute idea - much appreciated as you made a good weekend a great weekend of us stuffing our faces with our favourite seafood and wine - Thank you”

“The fish was great, but the delivery service you use terrible. I live on a fairly busy street in zone 2 London. The delivery driver did not ring the bell, did not knock, did not phone me, and instead left the fish propped up on the street against my front door. No text notifying me. It was there for at least twenty minutes before I discovered it. I checked and doorbell was working. Astonishingly lazy and reckless.”

Leaving an order propped against a front door on a busy street with no knock or text is reckless, and we don't blame you at all for being upset. “Great the first time but ordered again and my delivery was 5 pm , it was clear they had been in the couriers vehicle all day and the fish was all defrosted on arrival , such a shame”
