“Never again they sold me items that were never available which is not on then proceeded to tell me after I contacted them about it that I would be refunded in 48hrs still haven’t had my refund”

“The food is excellent - the delivery however is not as good as the food! DPD is the chosen courier, and my very first order had a day delay due to the DPD sorting office having a problem, and when the box eventually got here it had been opened!! A DPD tape was used to close the box again, but it left me feeling uneasy as this was a fish order not a pair of jeans! But the food is absolutely superb, so far!”

“Firstly 4 stars is 5 stars. It just gives me room to reassess. Have to say excellent fish. Packaging just perfect for the fish. I’m able to upcycle some of the packaging and recycle the rest. The maatjes (which is why I ordered) were excellent and reminded me of turning up at the docks in south holland for the early morning catch. The black cod in miso is delicious. I’m glad I purchased 3. All in all, a faultless transaction and product. Basically and importantly I will be ordering again. We are an island nation and I celebrate fish!”

“The order came really well packed and given the hot weather we've had recently the freezer packs used to keep the fish fresh was still cold. I would also like to say a big thankyou to the Fish Society for their assistance in the password resets which I had problems with earlier in the week! Excellent customer service all round and I will use the Society again. I haven't started the fish I have ordered yet, but look forward to doing so over the next week or so.”

“I have now finally received my refunds, however that does not change the fact that I placed TWO separate orders, expected deliveries, and received absolutely nothing.The issue was never just about the refund itself. It was the complete lack of communication, cancelled orders, delays, deleted comments, and the fact that I had to chase updates and my own money myself. Customers should not have to spend days wondering whether their order will arrive or whether they will even get a response.What made this situation even worse was being told on Instagram that an email had supposedly been sent yesterday, when in reality I only received it today at 4pm. At this point it honestly feels like I am being misled instead of given honest communication.I genuinely wanted to continue ordering from your company because I had positive experiences before, which is why this whole situation is so disappointing. But deleting customer comments instead of handling issues openly and professionally only destroys trust even further. Removing feedback does not erase what happened.Mistakes can happen in any business, but transparency, honesty, and proper customer service are what matter most when problems occur. Sadly, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in your company.”

“Very disappointing experience. I paid over £10 for next day delivery, but my parcel still hasn’t arrived. Poor communication and no proper update about the delay. I would not recommend this company.”

“I was disappointed with size and t thought only half my order was delivered! They immediately refunded the £12.80 - next day I noticed it was delivered but smaller than I thought- so will ring tomorrow to put it right- delicious but expensive”

“Ordered two things to cook a nice meal for friends. One item didn’t arrive, although was in stock on website. No pre warning that item wouldn’t arrive, just a note in the box. Refund promised, but should be told before half empty box arrives.”
