“My order was shipped and delivered efficiently. This was good. I had an issue with the payment of my order, and I sent four emails over four days and received absolutely no response, despite the frequency of these emails. This is really disappointing and makes me question whether I would use them again.”

“Test bought this for my nan who's not had sea food in years and she loves sea food. She lives in Harrow.. and all of her fishmongers have all shut down now for a good few years now.. found The Fish Society via Google Ai who recommended them. Was worried due to the heat wave that the test crab would come defrosted but lucky enough it "JUST" came in time.. most of the ice packs/ dry ice bags had gone/ defrosted in the box but the crab was still frozen so all was good and transferred to the freezer. I then transfer it from mine to my nans who eat it the next day and LOVED it.. She said she'll be buying many more English Crab from The Fish Society :)”

“The prawns I purchase are very good mostly of a good size. However my most recent purchase had completely defrosted with lots of liquid within the bag so in error I put them in the freezer which you can do safely - I am assured - but have now got a solid mass of prawns. Quite clearly the dry ice/gel does not work.”

“Honestly, the produce was okay. It delivered but not exceptionally. There are few items that I would reorder. However, the majority of which I will go back to the admittedly more time consuming method of sourcing my seafood from the market as the price is both cheaper and of better quality. Overall I do recomend the amebi prawns and the Ikura (salmon caviar) as they were of both excellent quality and are hard to source elsewhere. However, the Chutoro was dissapointingly unfaty and felt no different to the other tuna. My tuna Saku block was 40g less than what I ordered and I have not recieved any word about the partial refund that I am supposed to get for the weight difference. The scallops had to be cured in some sugar in order to get the natural sweetness that they are supposed to have and to get rid of the suprisingly slighty metalic taste in them. As for the crab and the tobiko, there was nothing wrong with the products and they were bolth very tasty. However, the crab would just be cheaper at the market and the tobiko is cheaper at Yutaka. Overall, if you have a craving for amebi prawns or Ikura then I do highly recomend this site, but if you are looking for the other above items then I would recomend just making the journey to your local fishmonger - I certainly will be!”

“The food is excellent - the delivery however is not as good as the food! DPD is the chosen courier, and my very first order had a day delay due to the DPD sorting office having a problem, and when the box eventually got here it had been opened!! A DPD tape was used to close the box again, but it left me feeling uneasy as this was a fish order not a pair of jeans! But the food is absolutely superb, so far!”
