Frozen in may 2019, almost 2 years and smell bad but refused to refund me. Not worth the money at all.

As we explained in our response to your email Chen Chen it is industry standard for white fish to be kept in deep freeze at -20c for 2 years and for the safety and quality not to be compromised. We recommend our customers consume their fish within 3 months of receiving it from us.

The fish society made me annoyed, not happy. I had to go out and buy more food given how bad your order was. I emailed to complain and did not even receive a reply. Not good customer service and very bad value for money.

Sarah you were sent a reply to your email om 5th Jan 2021 and on the same day we issued a refund.

Looking at your order history Richard and if you are referring to the order that was damaged in transit, a credit was applied to your account for use on a future order with us.

You didn't make me happy! Items were rubbish pathetic in size no taste and massively over priced. Customer service needs a lot of improvement too

Sorry that you were disappointed with your recent experience with The Fish Society. Pack sizes are displayed clearly on each product page on our website and there are usually plenty of sizes to choose from.

The baby octopus was rancid, admittedly the fish society were very prompt to issue a refund it ruined meal plans and is not what I would of expected from a company that holds itself in such high regard, I will not order produce from the fish society again

We are sorry to hear that the baby octopus arrived in such poor condition. If this was an order that got caught up in a late delivery which we do state clearly on our website can happen then The Fish Society will always refund/replace anything that doesn't cope with the delay. We are sorry to hear that you feel this way but glad that your refund came through promptly as promised.

VERY UNHAPPY There was a mistake over my telephone order which was duplicated. There was a complete refusal to rectify this by the assistant I spoke to the following day. I then asked to speak to someone senior,I was passed to the manager(?) who was extremely rude just refusing to discuss it and ringing off.

The order was fine I then enquired about a recipe you had on your site the reply I got was unsatisfactory the person that sent it needs to go to charm school. By the way I unsubscribed and will not be ordering from you again. And as amy says have a nice day

Disappointed, underwhelmed, meh My experience absolutely didn’t justify premium prices. Supermarkets have nowt to worry about.

Ordered from here thinking it was my local fish supplier (fish to your door) obviously was not the fish all came frozen which Is do not like as how would you actually know it was fresh. I then proceeded to call them where I then spoke to an elderly man who was actually really rude and aggressive refusing me a refund telling me its my fault. I have informed my local supplier which are now very upset to see them using there name a real sham for a small family run company. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER

Do not be fooled by the offer of next day delivery they have limited slots and if not available you may well be disappointed.I have tried to order for 2 days time the next available slot is over a week!

I have used this service three times and previously been impressed however my recent experience fell well below expectations, the product was poor in terms of size and taste. When raised as an issue was told I had ordered incorrectly for winkles and snow crab, £50 later and delivery arrived which looked like it came from liliput due to its small size. I asked to return which they refused hence my review and I will not order again! Very disappointing ! be careful before spending this amount on frozen shell fish with a no return policy!

Hi Paul I appreciate you were unhappy, which I deal with below. I will look into them. However, I have to point out that it is utterly unrealistic to consider returning frozen food. I like dealing with sensible feedback. But when it's nonsense, you just have to say so. How would this happen? Were you going to drop it in the post? Even if we sent a courier to collect (mega £££s!) you don't have the refrigerant to keep it frozen en route back to us. Perhaps you think we should send a refrigerated vehicle on a 600 mile round trip to collect your £50 order from Newcastle. Just imagine the cost of that. And what would be the point? It would have to be destroyed when it arrived back to us. It would just be an expensive and pointless exercise. Can't you see that? By all means berate us for small winkles and tasteless snow crab (although you are the first to complain...), but please get real and recognise that the idea of returning frozen food (not bought locally) is just plain silly. Regarding your specific order: uou ordered king crab from us twice than ordered snow crab and complained it was small. Well, as described on our website, snow crab is a fraction the size of king crab. I don't feel we erred. I do think people buying online should read the product page. Alistair Blair Chairman

I was disappointed with my order of Langoustines. It is expensive and you can buy them fresh on-line for much better results. I would not advise to order this item.

Some of them is not very fresh, portion is very small and overpriced for the quality. Will choose other seafood company next time
