The first delivery was superb in a long narrow shallow box.The second wasn't. It was delivered in a two feet cube which allowed the contents to slide about Consequently the tail of the fish was frozen and the head was not. I complained over the phone and was given a somewhat dusty answer that you couldn't control the actions of the courier. The local gulls fed well on half the fish.I was not a happy customer

Order delivered defrosted, Very small amount of fish for the money will not be ordering again.

Sorry that you were disappointed with your recent order Wendy. We always encourage our customers to ring us if there is anything that you need to discuss and also point out on our website that orders can arrive "cold" rather than frozen. Regarding the amount of fish vs cost, weights and prices are displayed clearly on each product page for ease of ordering.

The quality of the sashimi was poor and in the end disposed of in dustbin Overall very watery octopus that wasn’t a pleasure so it to was inedible Have previously used other online fishmonger but thought we’d try someone new Needless to say we will be using our original supplier

Reduced value of order by over 50% without advising, so delivery charge excessive relative to fish value. Refused nay refund.

Made me very unhappy as my order was due on Thursday as food for the Bank Holiday weekend. Tried and tried to reach the fish society all weekend and Monday eventually got them on Tuesday and was advised that the courier had destroyed the shipment and I would be refunded. I am shielding so we had to make do with whatever we had in the house.

I was surprised that the fish arrived totally defrosted. I had two conversations to try to resolve this and both times the people I spoke with were rude and did not listen to me. The customer service is appalling and unacceptable. For them to be patronising and rude and not even listen was an unpleasant shock. What a shame. It is not worth buying fish from them as they cannot even have a conversation when things go wrong.

The fish was totally defrosted and I could not eat it all so had to bin most of the package
