Saddened by the last two attempted orders , first one I had to call 3 days after the order placed to find the delivery which was regrettably not dispatched due to barcode issues on their side. Surprised no compensation was suggested or even an apology . The send time 2 weeks after exactly the same I received a call saying the item wouldn't be delivered and they could reschedule no goodwill gesture or genuine apology , not even a call or message from the manager . Disappointed to say the least

Hi Customer, With sincere apologies, it is regrettable and unfortunate that DPD have let you as the customer and us as a company down by failing to deliver two consignments to the same address. Understandably this has caused upset and an inconvenience. We have done our best to reschedule the delivery and have taken the loss of both parcels. Regrettably the actions of the courier is out of our control and this will be taken up with the courier. But disappointed as my wife asked if the Ortiz Sardines were skinless and Boneless before I placed the order, only to find today that they are not.

Absolutely no flavour. The N.Z. Mussels had the strangest flavour and a very weird texture. I bought mussels, cockles and whelks from you to share with my son. So very disappointed, three quarters of it ended up in the rubbish bin.

I was placing an order for £64 70 which should have been free postage Getting charged £20 have not ordered !

Hello We offer free weekday delivery to non remote postcodes on orders over £60 If you were charged £20 at the checkout then we suspect that is because, according to our couriers, your postcode is considered remote. It didn’t make me happy at all. Fish was completely defrosted by the time it was delivered and no one bothered to respond to my complaint via FB.

They claim to pride themselves on customer service and despite outlining their terms of satisfaction or refund on the website. When you call legitimate claim to this - they refuse and become defensively aggressive. Suddenly. The customer service turns vine! Horrible! I ordered and due to DPD mishaps as well as fish society not acknowledging my first communication! Their offices are not open on weekends - I sent an email the next day after delivery following their clear instructions on the website. Contact within 18 hours accept Delivery and if not cold to touch Refund I requested my refund within right on top of DPD delivering to the wrong address then kind neighbours bringing the box to me, as it happens often. I am a NHS doctor and I was actually at work - luckily my partner was home and confirmed the items were not cold and we will not risk food poisoning to our young child and me being pregnant! I am disappointed in their service - when I called Kim promised me a no hassle no quibble refund or even replacement! One day later - she’s acting very different now arguing it is my fault? For not being home? Despite my partner taking in the package on the delivery date after the kind neighbour brought it to our right address! So yes both fish society and dpd are at fault - fish society is at fault simply for not keeping up our terms and conditions ! So disappointed and angered

Poor quality fish. Poor customer service. Courier sent a photo of my order at the wrong address. Called to complain and got a could not care less attitude with no apology. Glad that person was honest enough to deliver my order. Second order. Last order. Too much stress for sub standard food

The Fish Society did not make me happy, in fact the Fish society made me very very annoyed. They were supposed to delivered for a party that we had a couple weeks ago & failed to do so leaving us scrabbling to make other plans with no notice, not so much as an acknowledgment of my email venting my displeasure they sent back my money and that was that!

Hi Paul, we can only apologies again for the disappointment as we did profusely in our original email. The whole team spent the Saturday working to dispatch orders before the bank holiday weekend only for DPD not to collect from us. We phoned every number in the phone book. We put all the work in our end are were bitterly disappointed to let customers down. We're at a loss at what more could have been done. Sincerely The Fish Society Team.
