The food didn’t arrive on time, we couldn’t have them at the party. when it arrived the next day all the products were already melted.

I ate the platter on Good Friday and spent the following 2 days with a severely upset stomach. The freshness of the mussels is in question.

It did not my order was a day and half late and whilst one customer service said if it had not arrived that day you would refund me when I spoke again I was told that is not our policy. If I eat this fish and are then ill I will be told by GP or Hospital it was my fault I should not have eaten it. Your terms and conditions of service put people in very difficult position.

Good afternoon We were aware that your order was a day late and delivered to the wrong address. Thankfully your husband found it. Whilst we gave you the assurance that, so long as the contents of your order were cold to the touch they would be perfectly OK to refreeze, if there were any items you were unhappy with then to let us know. As we didn't hear anything further we assumed all was OK. Was that not the case? Kind regards

I have rated 1 star not because of The Fish Society itself but the delivery company. The delivery person leaves the box outside the door without knocking and it is always someone at home to open the door. They sent a message with a delivery slot, but they never delivered within that time frame. It has been the 3rd time. I have made complaints to them, but i have been ignored. I'm very disappointed because this time the fish was starting to defrost. I like to go and collect my order but sometimes is not possible. I really appreciate if you issue this problem to the deliver team. Thank you.

Hi Maria, We do apologise that you have had this experience with the couriers. Unfortunetly they are out of our control and we entrust them to do their jobs. Sadly we can be let down. To put your mind at ease, as long as your items feel cold to the touch, as if they have been in a fridge, they are safe to consume and to freeze. Some defrost can occur. I never received my fish it was returned to the depot. The delivery driver could not find my address as the wrong postcode was on the parcel. I was so looking forward to my order.my previous orders have been great.

I didnt read the small print and thought I was indeed getting crab claws. What i got is very doughy tasteless glorified crabsticks with no crabmeat content whatsoever. Thank goodness I didnt serve them to guests.
