the package was a day late again, on order you said next day, then when day was nearly over it had changed to the next day, the parcel was due to be delivered around 5/6, i kept checking my e-mails as i had problems with the last order, I waited and kept checking.... then a delivery confirmed e- mail arrived, the driver hadn't even rang my apartment to say it was here, instead he just dumped it at the foyer door, where anyone could see it and he drove off. As I stated last time I am disabled and in a wheelchair, so I had to go down to the foyer in my wheelchair and attempt to carry it back to my department, there is a board in the foyer with clear instructions to ring the apartment number and I would answer, and as it stated on the order DELIVER to apartment 52. i checked the package immediately with it being a day later than it was due, most of it was still frozen but the smoked salmon and a packet of the crab claws were completely defrosted, and I wasn't going to re-freeze those, so I had to give them away, they were supposed to be for my family over the Christmas period, so I let them down and felt awful about it. So the last two orders were not delivered on the day specified, but the following day, the first delivery the driver had been very rude to the reception staff, and when I rang you to inform you I was told it6 was nothing to do with you, it was the courier, my order was placed with you therefore my contract was with you, not the firm you chose to deliver your orders. I did e-mail you the very next day, but did not get a response, so I have replied to this e-mail you sent me hoping maybe this time I will get one. Despite a delivery email and clear instructions… the courier left parcel in the wheelie bin on the main road in driveway. Despite instructions to ‘be patient, knock loudly’ … I gave my parents a time slot and they were sat in waiting for delivery! This was an expensive box as a Christmas treat for them. It wasn’t up to your advertising standards. Disappointed!…not only with delivery care but the quality of the dressed crab, didn’t taste or look great… they have yet to give me feedback on the rest. I’m not sure I will be ordering for a third time.

I received 8 lobsters and cooked them for Christmas dinner. They are a big disappointment. 2 of them are not editable, the rest are mush and empty. It is a far cry from the quality I used to get from fish society. The Sashimi grade salmon I placed in the same order is up to the usual quality. Therefore I will rate my overall experience with the fish society to 2 stars.

once again your delivery service let you down, my order was supposed to be delivered Thursday 19th, no-one notified me that it was not coming until Friday 20th, I didn't bother ringing as the female I spoke to when the order before that was also delayed, she said it was out of your hands, the problem weas between DPD and myself, my contract was with The Fish Society, the same as yours was with DPD. The driver that day was rude to the receptionist saying they don't deliver to the apartments, and he walked off mumbling something under his breath, when she asked him what he said, he said she didn't want to know. If he had bothered to check his delivery note it clearly states deliver to Apartment 52!! This time he delivered after 5pm and the reception was closed so the door was locked, there is a board explaining what action to take, all he had to do was press my number on the board and it would ring my apartment where I could automatically open the door for him, he never even bothered doing that, so I didn't even know he had been, and once again my parcel was left by an unlocked door at the exit, I only knew it had been delivered because I was regularly checking my e-mails, when it said the parcel had been delivered I had to go down in my wheelchair and carry it upstairs myself, which was quite difficult as I needed one hand to steer my wheelchair, I opened the box as soon as I got it upstairs, the box had been packed for two days, part of the order was still frozen but the smoked salmon and one pack of whelks were completely defrosted, so no way was I going to re-freeze it. I had bought it to take to my sisters for over the Christmas period, so I let her down, instead I had to find someone in the building that liked whelks and smoked salmon and had to give them it!! So you can understand, I hope, why I have had to complain, I don,t want to be told again that my complaint was with DPD, had I got in touch with them I would have been told by them that my contract was with yourselves and would have told me to contact yourselves, so I am doing this now placed my order with you, therefore the complaint is with you. The orders were gifts. I made multiple orders & the delivery notices do not have the order number on. The drivers do not leave a note & leave on a doorstep which may not be safe. One order went to a neighbour without leaving a note by the time the order was given back it was defrosted.

Half the shellfish was defrosted - mushy scallops and shellfish. Completely spoiled for Christmas Day and the special surprise of a Seafood platter. An absolute rip off.

Parcel arrived a day late despite having a label on saying deliver today. Products fully defrosted and box containing squid a mass of wet cardboard. Not sure I’m confident of feeding it to anyone over Christmas

This order has not yet delivered so don’t know why you keep asking for reviews?? Checked my account which says delivery on 22/12/23 as requested but also says it has been fulfilled??? I am now concerned that I am not going to get it!

A lot of the mussel shells were crushed But the majority were beautifuly plump and tasty.

Ordered lobster meat, money taken £23 but you ran out of stock. Ok. Got call back in stock, in the meantime the item was reduced to £20 BUT NEVER GOT A REFUND. DUH Even though I ordered another item.
