“purchased policy and had to chase for documents for over 8 weeks, they have now issued proceedings as i cancelled within 14 days of receiving the documents due to excessive charges, mediation setup with court and they didnt call in so i lose a days pay also now to defend. DO NOT USE THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON”

“Took a policy with Adrian Flux, the called me the next day to cancel it on the basis that 5 years ago when taking a policy i mentioned i did a little acting from time to time. I told them categorically that Im not an actor at all now as that was 5 years ago Still cancelled the policy and took my £45 deposit for my troubles. Absolute crooks! Do not do any business with ADRIAN FLUX!”

“I have just discovered that my policy has a £1,250 excess (£750 accidental damage and £500 voluntary). The bike (Yamaha YZF R125) cost me £2,600 so the excess is nearly 50% of this value which is ridiculous! This was not clear at all when I purchased the insurance on Oct 25 on line - apparently I was required to 'deselect' the voluntary excess but did not do so. In my view this is as close to a scam as you can get. The policy itself is split between two insurers (AmTrust for accidental damage/theft and Aviva for third party) even though this was not made clear at the time of purchase. I am not at all happy and would not recommend The Bike Insurer to anyone.”

“I feel that I am unfairly treated. My partner has a two wheeled motorbike and can get fully comp or 3rd party, fire and theft. Because I have a quad I can only get 3rd party yet the two bikes are parked side-by-side outside the house. I would say that the staff have been helpful though.”

“This organisation does not tell you who they really are or the fact that all your quotes and calls go through to the equally corrupt Adrian S Flux. This is mis-selling, it is a complete waste of your time and money. The FCA have been informed. Do Not use The Bike Insurer or any of its other shady derivatives.”

“Avoid giving your number to these clowns. New number, get a quote on here, low and behold inundated with personal injury sales calls etc. These guys give your number to the worst of the worst, that seem to ignore that I am TPS registered. AVOID! Use compare the market instead.”

“Unhelpful website. Quotes given never able to be completed online and needed a phone call to insurer. Phone numbers to call always very expensive premium rate numbers and numbers given often not corresponding to correct insurance company so many calls had to be made. Also suspect some of the cheaper insurers they advertise to be charlatans. Will not be using again.”
