“Matthews customer service was fantastic on entering the store we was asked if we were happy to look around on our own or needing some help,we were happy to look on our own ,we tried some mattress out and then asked Matthew lots of questions which he was more then happy to answer for us ,we purchased a mattress which we liked and was even given a discount, the mattress was delivered 2 days later by 2 of their delivery men who were very polite and helpful. Thankyou Matthew and your staff”

“Although I live in Surrey when it comes to buying a bed, it has always been worth my while to travel down to The Bed and Mattress Centre in Chichester. Reasons being: I always get honest and knowledeable advice, they don't upsell beyond what I need, their delivery times are shorter than their competitors, their sales and delivery teams are genuinely polite and professional and all of this at prices that have always, in my experience, outmatched the competition. My last purchase was in fact 20% lower than the closest competitor. Well worth the trip!”

“Ordered two ottoman beds with headboards and mattresses for our new house. We had to delay delivery to allow carpet fitters in first - no problem. BAMC waited until we were ready. Delivery crew were fantastic - friendly, efficient and considerate. However the best bit is one can order a bed base in a multitude of colours and fabrics instead of the ghastly greys that everybody else offers!”

“Our 10 year old mattress needed replacing so we returned to the Bed & Mattress Centre who are local to us. Matthew and his team provided a very knowledgable, friendly and professional service throughout. We had an issue with our choice of mattress which required a return but Matthew was very considerate and accommodated all our needs. The delivery chaps were friendly and swift. They even removed our old mattress and all packaging leaving us with our shiny new mattress! Top service!”

“I needed to purchase two single divans and mattresses in time for my husband being discharged from hospital. Dominic helped me to chose divans with matching head boards and recommended mattresses. My timeframe was very short but thanks to the excellent service everything was in place when my husband came home. I am delighted with the quality of the beds and headboard and the mattresses are so comfortable. I think I got great value for money and incredible service from the Bed and Mattress centre.”

“More than happy with the service we received. In the shop all the options were shown to us. Delivery was quick. Unfortunately, due to the design of our stairs the base we ordered would not fit. Another base was ordered without question and at no extra charge which fitted and we are really pleased with. Excellent service all round.”

“The bed and matress centre made us feel welcome and met our requirements for a mattress and mattress protector. Also, cenre personnel carried out our vacuum packed mattress and stowed it in our car. The centre also discounted the price of our mattress. We were happy with the level of service.”

Hello Sue. Many thanks for your review. We are a bit surprised by your feedback given the time we spent with you and our efforts to provide you with the best possible bed to suit your budget. You have a high specification softer feel mattress which we feel is best suited to the platform top base you have been supplied. You will also recall you wanted to change both the size and colour fabric after we had placed the order with the supplier. We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your purchase and if you would like to change your platform top base for a sprung one we will do this for you. Please bear in mind this will alter the feel and and possibly the future performance of your mattress.

“After holidays at the Witterings, we popped in and had our first look around. We came back to the shop because the price and quality and selection's were convincing. We took our time to choose and are very happy with our choice. We came down from the London area. We have received fantastic suggestions and professional advice from the owner. He never pushed or rushed us to anything. He even stayed longer, after shop closure. Very good quality ottoman super king sized bed plus head board- made to our likes and for wall mounting. Super compfy mattress (Milly 3000). Sleeping quality 10 out of 10. The delivery service was on time and very clean and efficient. The old bed and mattress was removed and recycled- for a little extra charge. Fabulous service and experience. Highly recommend!!!”
