Absolute shambles of a company. Disgusting service and lies after lies also staff is terrible just don't care. Nightmare to get refund, been over two month and still waiting...... FCA Trading standards informed. Only way to get a refund is go to the bank and request a fraud investigation Avoid!

Rubbish please don’t buy from this firm. They dropped my American fridge freezer twice one man to deliver it & he was useless to say the least plus the item wasn’t even packed it had a little bit of cardboard around the front of it & that was all. We are pensioners & were expected to help with the delivery, how pathetic. 😢when they informed of this we were blamed!! Rating Nil but had to give a star.

I buy many graded electric appliances online from many different suppliers for rental properties, which have all been brilliant with only the tiniest scratch or dint. Unfortunately, I thought that is what I would receive from Appliance Depot, but they provided an absolutely appalling service and product. They delivered a large integrated microwave oven, which had a flimsy bubble wrap on the outside of the oven door, which could easily have been removed for checking prior to delivery. When I removed the flimsy bubble wrap and opened the oven door, the inside of the oven had completely melted and the glass had shattered, caused by a very serious electric problem which had caused the interior to reach a massively high temperature. When I reported the problem, the response was firstly it is a "graded appliance, if you want to return it you can" I was shocked and sent photos and asked for the oven to be picked up. There was a week wait, then I received a phone call at 7pm saying the oven would be picked up at 6am the following day. We work late at night and had to be awake by 5:30, to check it was okay to be picked up. I waited a week but received no refund. When I phoned to ask about the refund, I was told staff had been on holiday and unable to process the refund. There should be a zero stars rating for this experience. At no point did I receive an apology for the appalling service and product.

“You get what you pay for” best summarises my experience with the Appliance Depot. To avoid congestion charges, they only deliver between 6:00-6:30 AM (!!!) to central London addresses - but conveniently forget to mention this when orders are placed online. I ordered two items from the Appliance Depot (cooking hood / single oven). Both came with insufficient, unprofessional packaging, and the cooking hood was damaged as a result. I had to contact the manufacturer for repairs - nightmare. Avoid this company.

I tried to order but the website wouldn't apply the advertised 'free UK mainland shipping'. Phoned and they said they only deliver to some parts of the country, not Scotland, it would need a £50 pallet, said 'its just the way its worded' and refused to honour the advertising on their website. We decided not to order rather than risk what else might be falsely advertised.

Hello, my apologies if our wording on delivery isn't clear. I can see on our home page we have "All orders of £300 or greater being delivered within mainland England & Wales can be delivered for FREE, or simply collect directly from our warehouse or store." and on our "Delivery Information" page the first line states "At The Appliance Depot, we offer free delivery for all orders of £300.00 or above, we charge a flat rate of £29.99 to deliver orders that are less than £300. We deliver to the vast majority of mainland England and South Wales. For some areas, such as northern England, Scotland and Western Wales may incur an additional charge.". We constantly review delivery prices to Scotland but we made a decision to charge a flat fee of £50 to mainland Scotland as our courier charges different prices to different postcodes and we thought this way was much fairer to all.

I received a Bosch microwave that doesn’t work , have sent an email requested by Amy outlining the problem which I have done I have had no response . I have phoned twice only to be told its in the hands of the manager . No apology received and very disappointed. I have requested a full refund and was told by Laura on the phone I will have to wait for a reply from her manager .

Please don’t ever purchase a second appliance from this company unless you fully inspect it, massive learning curve for me. Oven appeared to always have oil settling on one side of the oven and couldn’t figure out why. We took the door off to clean the oven and glass. We noticed the hinge was damaged, even though the oven door closed properly. We bought a new oven as we were not happy with the one supplied by this company. When I phoned to discuss the appliance they were defensive and said we had damaged the hinge taking the door off. The oven door is designed to come off for easy cleaning. When the new oven arrived and we removed this oven from the housing my partner noticed that the outer casing was more damaged then what we had been informed. It had bent the door hinge and the underneath of the oven the casing was protruding more, this is what caused the oven to tilt to one side, this is the cause of the oil pulling, collecting on one side. The company refused to even offer a gesture of good will, they said we damaged the oven. * never offered to send someone out to check the appliance. * multiple photos sent to them showing the appliance damage. * refused even a gesture of goodwill. Never again.

New appliance received with damage and scraping all up one side. Looks like it had happened before the wrapping had been applied too. Called twice to pleasant enough call assistant who tried to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately it is left up to management to make a decision and I’m still waiting on an acknowledgement of receiving my email. No follow up even though details are on the system. Poor......

Jess or Jessie who is fairly new there couldn’t have been more helpful, considerate or cheerful.Nothing was too much trouble to explain to me.I don’t think I would have ordered the oven otherwise. The other staff were good as well.

I have had my cooker for over a year. If you lean across to the back you can turn the burners on accidentally. The large ring is too near the front and I have to be careful not to burn myself. The grill only works with the door shut and if you open it for too long the heat shuts down. For the price it is an awkward cooker to use. Worst I‘Ve ever used. Would never buy another.

Used item, bits broken and some actually missing. I wasn’t made aware of this being in a used condition. The unit has scratches which show this has been installed previously. I have reported back with pictures and had no contact. I have chased up again and still no contact from this company. Very poor service.

Four days after paying I’m told you’ve dropped my cooker off a fork lift and it has ‘smashed to bits’ REALLY! Me thinks you realised you could get more money off someone else or you would have just given me another one. Not impressed.

Went to warehouse to specifically check goods as aware that some had damage. Chose item which was perfect however on unpacking noticed there was a large knife mark on the front of all 3 doors. This was not there when we looked at it. However on reporting this to the company they tried to blame us because we hadn't unpacked it straight away due to time constraints. Only half our order was delivered however this was rectified with a next day delivery. Customer services just very poor with them just blaming us for the damage despite us not using any blades whatso ever. Will not be recommending this company to others or using again.

A very approachable and friendly company to do business with prior to sale . However , when I discovered that the undercounter fridge I bought was too high to fit under my worktop I was told that Appliance Depot would not arrange collection . I would have to arrange my own transport , and it would have to be sent on a pallet . I would not have objected to paying the £ 30.00 for collection - or indeed their so called £ 30.00 "restocking fee" , but this attitude is downright obstructive . If you are considering buying from Appliance Depot , you should be prepared to expect very little help from them after you have given them your money . And if you don'y like it - just get yourself a pallet !

I rang early in the day, to find out the details on a graded appliance, they said ther would call me back in 1 hour or so. 4 hours later I called again the chap said he had been busy & would phone me in an hour!! Never got a call. I then decided that if this is how they treat prospective customers, then delivery etc would probably not be good either. so I paid a bit more & found a decent service elsewhere.

We welcome all enquiries from customers and deal with them in good time, we did in fact call the customer back twice but had no answer, we are very sorry we didn't make contact with you in time so we could have saved you quite a bit of money, please try us again, many thanks.
