We came to you on our daughters recommendation as she found you to be very helpful.Sadly that has not been our experience firstly we had a large order including a range cooker larder fridge dishwasher cooker hood and splashback. The van driver was lovely and helpful.the blurb on your website said someone should be available to help the driver, not to take half the weight. We are both elderly and my husband has had 3 stents but was obliged to take half the weight after we had paid £69 for delivery. Following delivery we discovered that the Bosch larder fridge would not open .My husband called your office and the attitude of the receptionist was what's that to do with us , and told him to contact Bosch when my husband explained that our contract is with you she was quite antagonistic and when she thought my husband was off the line was heard on loudspeaker to say f--ck off so that my11 year old grandson heard it all. So we contacted Bosch who sent an engineer .|He managed to open the fridge and found that the topmost dairy box had come loose and then wedged in the fridge so damaging the inner lining and making it unusable. He took photos and said he would send a report to Bosch and for us to contact you. My husband phoned and unfortunately got Miss antagonism again saying it was up to us to get the report from Bosch who on being contacted gave him a reference number to give to you so that you could access the report. Not to be thwarted by a difficult woman he phoned again and this time the charming Laura took it all in hand. our worry is what if something is wrong with any of the other items will all this unpleasantness have to be repeated £3800 is no small amount o f money to pay to told to F off

Poor communication, consistent chasing to get issues resolved and then today we have new microwave! We were so happy ! Then we see a European 2 pin plug ! We live in the UK and get a European non compliant microwave! Let’s see how quick we get a response and another model that actually works and fits in our plug socket !

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our apologies you feel you have had a below standard service from us. I can see from our system our team have been in correspondence with your partner with regards to the previous microwave and exchange. Our engineers have confirmed this morning the previous microwave that was reported as faulty is actually in full working order, the reason it was tripping out is because this is a safety feature when the grill and microwave are used together or closely after each other. With regards to the EU plug I can see this appliance was a brand new, boxed item that came to us directly via Hoover. We would have been unaware that the plug supplied was incorrect. This morning my colleague has received an email from your partner we received out of office hours last night. This has been passed onto management for you for them to discuss with you today.

I bought a Smeg dishwasher which was advertised as new graded with dents. When my fitter arrived he noticed the following issues 1) usage scratches inside 2) broken salt tray 3) filthy connecting pipes which were damaged by use of pilers 4) the bottom wheels not coming out/ functioning 5) different and missing nails from underneath the dishwasher suggesting it’s been opened 6) door fitting kit missing I called and spoke to Jess who asked me to me send an email with pictures which I did. Claims she can’t open embedded photos? And her manager is off so can’t make a decision, I will have to call back. Machine delivered on Tuesday, I complained on Friday when fitter came, so within the 14 days. All I can say for now is that the sells is misleading and I’ll update my review with their responses.

BEWARE of FALSE ADVERTISING! Purchased a floor model SMEG refrigerator from Appliance Depot. I was aware the item would have 3-4 scratches at the time of purchase. The fridge is completely and utterly FILLED with scratches all over the entire appliance. In addition to a major dent along the top. Not to mention the item is totally filthy to the point that the filth won't come out. Certainly not worth the ~30% discount I received for buying an "ex-display" model. I would expect better from something that is priced at 70% off. I wish I had bought it full price from a reliable retail store. Lesson learned, but hopefully others can avoid! The only positive encounter I had with this company was the nice delivery driver who delivered the item at 5:55am.

Sent me a very damaged and unusable expensive dishwasher. Because I was unable to check it on delivery and it was in storage for three months. The Graded machine is badly dented on the inside of the door and on the outsides. The feet have been destroyed so can not be adjusted, back panel is hanging off, seals are sticking out. Dirt on inside of door and no fitting kit which indicates the unit has been "used". Told I should have checked on delivery !!!. Should have sent me the dishwasher I ordered not a heap of unusable junk. We cannot test it as if it does leak it will ruin a wooden floor. Very unsatisfied as not offered any reasonable solution or help.

Not worth a £100 less then a brand new one, I've purchased a dishwasher which listen as dent and mark but received it with dent, mark and three scraped paint marks, it doesn't look nice in a new kitchen, no information book, and hassle to return as you have to return it your self plus £50 off your payment to restock

The appilance has been delivered on time but when we connect the fridge/freezer we found out then there is a problem with ice maker (not working), as well once we were closing the freezer door straight after we could hear a wired noise. As well once we removed all the shelves we found out then at the end of the shelf runners the plastic its broken and the insulation its exposed. When i call the CS they said then they are happy to collect but it will have to be ready outside for them to collect. Thats means i did pay twice for guys to put it in and out the fridge as there is only one person on delivery and collection. Thats means I pay £150 for the instalation and removing the fridge (2 visits) and I am still without the fridge. Avoid.

Terrible customer service. I am utterly horrified at the service. I purchased an A grade oven over two months ago. From outside of packaging looked fine so left it in packaging. Kitchen fitting was delayed, as renovations took longer than expected. Kitchen fitter opened it yesterday and there are visible/ugly scratches and marks on both handles. Apparently nothing can be done, as it is over 28 days. I didn't ask for a refund, just an exchange of a scratch-free and mark-free product. No apology, no compensation. Deception from a company who claimed that  [This product is graded due to box damage only and will be repackaged making it suitable for delivery.] I wished I'd paid 50 quid extra and bought it from Currys instead. Don't buy from The Appliance Depot.

Hello, Our apologies you feel the customer service provided today wasn't up to standard. I can see you spoke with two members of our team regarding this today (one being a manager). They both explained all customer have 28 days to notify us if anything is wrong with their order. As your order has been in your possession for over 2 months we can’t offer an exchange or a refund. I can see both members of our team have requested photos of this extra damage from you to try and assist and none have come through to our email as of yet. Please can you forward these photos as requested to see if we can help you in anyway. Kind regards, The Appliance Depot

Beware when purchasing good from hear if not satisfied with item costs £55.00 plus to return. And £50.00 admin. Which is in the small print but I did not see it. You have to sort out a shipping van yourself and when its a fridge many people will not carry item. Very disappointed.

Customer service is very, very poor. Had a Smeg range cooker from AD fitted in November and it has broken down and needed repair 3 times in the first month. Factoring in waits for the engineer, I reckon we’ve had about 8 days use of it scattered through the last few weeks. Appliance Depot say that Smeg are totally responsible for fixing the problem, despite their company grading the appliance A+ and taking £871 of my money. Smeg say it is AD’s responsibility, as my purchase was with them not Smeg directly. I’m feeling lost and frustrated but AD aren’t interested. No one has answered my emails and I’ve been brushed off on the phone with what is clearly a script. Waiting for Smeg engineer AGAIN.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS I purchased a neff downdraft extractor that was sold slightly cheaper because it was not in its original box, the appliance when installed didn’t work properly, after receiving an engineer visit from Neff direct the engineer showed me the reason the appliance was not working was because of damage to the side of the appliance, after speaking with appliance depot that want nothing to do with it and have offered absolutely no solution instead they have been very rude, I am now left with an appliance I paid £1,200 for that doesn’t work properly. Absolute shambles

I bought a graded smeg induction cooker. When it arrived the door wouldn't close and it wouldn't get up to temperature. Appliance Depot just called smeg who contacted me to arrange a repair. A week after this the light started to stay on permanently. Another engineer came to visit and had to order parts. After this, and while entertaining for family visiting from Germany the main oven stopped working completely. After this the induction hob stopped recognising brand new induction pans. The service from the Appliance Depot has been horrendous. They seem happy to carry on arranging repairs forever, despite me not having a working cooker for a month. For the price this is unacceptable. On top of that, the staff are hyper sensitive (probably because their policies are so rubbish), unhelpful and seem to be making it up on the spot. Although it is tempting to save, I strongly advise against. These guys are lurking in the legal area between the supplier and the consumer and want to avoid all responsibility. I will be taking legal action against them, but wanted to warn others to avoid. I did read some negative reviews but decided to chance it - that was a mistake.

Ordered a Bosch washer dryer, graded only because of a tatty box. A damaged machine was delivered. Feel totally deceived. Have complained and am waiting to hear how they will put this right. So disappointed.

The staff at this business are rude and will not let you speak to the manager. They have no complaints procedure I would strongly recommend that you do not use this company when there are other companies around who look after their customers in a much more professional way.

Hi, all of our phone calls are recorded and if any member of staff is rude to our customers then it would be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Managers are not always available as we have many sites and can only deal with customers if they are in office. We do have a simple complaints procedure and anyone wanting to complain can simply email all details to the email at the top of your invoice or by requesting the email address via phone.
