The service, is being let price of the microwave from Appliance Depot was great. However low score is due to their choice of delivery provider, FedEx. FedEx tried to deliver our parcel to the wrong address, we brought this to the attention of FedEx that this occurred. They delivered our parcel the next day to the Wrong address!!!!!! We contacted Appliance Depot for help with this. We were told it was our responsibility to deal with this. They also did not have a contact number for FedEx. What a shame that their great service is being let down by their choice of delivery service.

Initially good service fast delivery but they charge a restocking fee (£50), which is against the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCRs). This says to me a poor appreciation of both the law and how they treat their customers. I would not recommend them to anyone, just in case there is a problem as they will not help.

I bought a fridge freezer and the door highly damaged but it was not mentioned on the website. Anyone buying things from this company please check it properly before entering the appliances in the house. Because they don’t show all the problems and sometimes some of the is difficult to notice quickly. It take time to recognise the problem.

Appliance arrived non-functional - not as described on the website. Took 3 weeks from ordering to having the issue resolved satisfactorily via a full refund and I was without an oven in the meantime. Very disappointing from a service point of view but provided nothing goes wrong and you're prepared to wait all day for delivery its "ok".

Bought appliance didn’t work so months have passed with manufacturer sending maintenance engineers out replacing parts until today when the repair was deemed not possible so now I wait to find out what that means , no dishwasher since late November 2023

Phoned up over a item gave them hem my code and asked if the one that they was listing was the same I was told yes drove 80 miles there and 80 miles back opened it up the following morning only to find out that it was not correct our was the same code except ours had /03 at the end compared but again was to,d it was the same looks like been hard work getting it returned

We have placed a order for colection. I have send one of the employee to collect the item. However they call me when he was already ther and told me that the transaction showed as fraud and they need to refund the money and I will have to pay again when I will come to collect but the refund will tale 5 days. Got ther today and pay as have no choice so paid on my card and they give me a invoice and collection address 15 min away from them office. What a waste of time .

My Smeg built in fridge freezer was found to have multiple dents in the metalwork which must have happened before the polystyrene protection was applied. Not impressed with quality control.

Why do I need to have an account this appliance company before I can purchase an item? I find this strange. I only need to put an email, phone number & delivery address when I'm purchasing from elsewhere and pay.

Hi Debbie, just to make you aware that you do not need to create an account on our website to place an order, many customers purchase from us without any such account. On the checkout there is a password box under the email but it does say OPTIONAL therefore you can provide a password which will create an account or just leave it blank and you can simply checkout as a guest. Haven’t received item, wasn’t told how early item would be delivered. Didn’t call ahead until the day of delivery, and then proceeded to charge me £50 for a Redelivery in a week despite me losing a lot of food because of lack of appliance.

Hello Suzie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our apologies you feel this way. I can see on the system when booking in your delivery date we let you know you could be an early delivery to please all our office for an estimate the day before. This was then followed up in an email to confirm. The day before tried to call you to let you know when the delivery driver would be with you, but there was no answer so we left a voice mail and sent you an email. On morning of delivery our driver tried to call you when they were 30 minutes from your property and when outside, but again there was no answer (as well as when knocking on your door). I can see you send our driver a few text messages over an hour after delivery was attempted, but our driver was already too far away from your property to re-deliver. When a member of our team called you to re-arrange delivery, it was then confirmed by yourself the wrong email address was provided to us when the order was placed online (we have since changed this for you). With regards to your failed delivery we do explain this on our website, in the delivery confirmation email and on the copy of your invoice, that you will need to pay a £50 re-delivery fee for any failed delivery. I can see we have arranged re-delivery for next week for you, so please make sure you answer our call the day before delivery for your delivery time.

The tumble dryer arrived wrapped in just bubble wrap. When the bubble wrap was removed the tumble dryer had marks on the top and scratches along the front(definitely not brand new). The vent tube was in 3 pieces and split all over so unusable. It was lucky it was my husband who took delivery. Was given a £25.00 refund. NOT HAPPY. Should have been taken away and refunded or replaced.

Great product, and good customer service right up to delivery. However, the product was described as having 2 year manufacturers warranty (it was a graded product with only packaging damage) but when I came to register with Neff they said it was manufactured in 2017 (I bought it Dec 22) and that they did not guarantee products manufactured over 5 years ago. I am currently at a stalemate with Appliance Depot hence my low score.

The washing machine I ordered arrived with a broken door have to wait a week for replacement so can’t comment on service until I get the new one

Oven was damaged. When I called to speak to someone, I was spoken to rudely. Also, my kitchen fitter said he believed the oven was reconditioned so that's unacceptable as I bought it as brand new. Quick refund received though thank you.

I found Polly ‘aggressive’ in her communication style and had to ask her not to talk to me like that especially as I was sold a product with secondary damage. I would’ve bought a replacement appliance from you but she literally couldn’t be bothered and didn’t pursue it when I asked her. She gave no details and just said I’d have to pay more which I knew anyway! All in all not a good experience for me. Anna however was much more customer focussed and always replied in a friendly manner.

Placed an order Boxing Day for a washer dryer and was told 12 days later item cannot be found in their depot. They have refunded me but very disappointing service. I’ve missed out on sale item as a result.

Cheaper (but not reasonable) priced appliances if happy with breakdown after a few months. My cooker stopped working after 8 months of use, costing me a lot more to replace. I would never buy again from Appliance Depot. If I had brought from new in the first place, I would have had a 2 year warrantee but Appliance Depot only offer 60 days.

Paid for delivery to be delivered within 5 working days notified as instructed in the email. Courier not booked. Have to wait 8 days before delivery. Dosnt suit. As I won’t be in the country. Massive inconvenience. If I wanted poor service I would have paid less elsewhere expecting the poor service. I paid the extra with a small Independent both on the product and delivery as I thought they would be more reliable and have better service times. Sadly Iam wrong.

Terrible customer service. Paid nearly £1000 for a hob which broke within a few months and Appliance Depot have given zero service despite being within 1 year warranty. Do NOT buy from here!!
